Tropical Birding Costa Rica Introtour Fabulous birding tour! Jose was an excellent guide leading us to over 350 different species of birds. The bus was comfortable with lots of room and I was very happy with the accommodations. This was my first trip travelling on my own and I wasn't sure what to expect but I had nothing to worry about. The trip exceeded my expectations in every aspect and I will definitely travel with Tropical Birding Tours again.

Amazing Trip to Costa Rica, Pura Vida!! We had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were comfortable, safe & had every amenity we asked for. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient and flexible according to our needs and desires. The food was plentiful, varied and very good. The birds we saw were extraordinary! Costa Rica Introtour 2018 A great tour with a great guide, Scott Olmstead. His knowledge of birds and ability to find them was fantastic. Birders often have interests in other parts of the natural world, and Scott had something to offer in many areas there as well (8 life frogs, woo-hoo!). Best of all, though, was his attitude throughout the trip. He was always patient, quick with a smile or laugh, and generally had exactly the sort of calm personality one wants to be around when going through the early mornings and long, hot days of a tropical excursion.

Brazil Revisted! Hi there! My friend Hantz and I had a great time for 12 nights in Brazil with Nick Athanas on a private photo tour! We were st some great parks, some private reserved and even a home of a retired engineer with whom Nick had cultivated a relationship over the years who show cased some great rear birds for free!! Though the weather was not kind to us yet Nick worked hard to give us yet another memorable birding experience!

Excellent tour with a variety of… Excellent tour with a variety of habitats. Jose was an outstanding tour leader not only because of his uncanny ability to spot and identify birds but manage a sometimes challenging tour.He got us through several land slides unscathed! One suggestion. We could have been provided, as Australian tours are, with a mid-morning and mid-afternoon cup of tea and snack and break. As an 81 year-old I could keep up but would have welcomed some breaks.
