Outstanding private photo tours We have completed 3 private bird photo tours with Pablo Cervantes as our guide. All have been outstanding. Itinerary perfect for our age and activity level. Pablo has outstanding knowledge of both birds and photography, and has helped us improve our photos immensely. Cannot recommend him and Tropical Birding highly enough!

Brazil Revisted! Hi there! My friend Hantz and I had a great time for 12 nights in Brazil with Nick Athanas on a private photo tour! We were st some great parks, some private reserved and even a home of a retired engineer with whom Nick had cultivated a relationship over the years who show cased some great rear birds for free!! Though the weather was not kind to us yet Nick worked hard to give us yet another memorable birding experience!

Outstanding company Outstanding company! We have done a lot of tours with Tropical Birding all around the world, and have always enjoyed each and every one of them. The guides are all "first class" and extremely knowledgeable. Not only that, they are personable and some of them have become great friends over the years. While setting up tours (especially private tours) takes more time than going with "set departures" TB really works hard to make each experience a great one and puts a lot of time into meeting our expectations, because we often have a very limited "hit list." If you've never traveled with TB, give it a try! We think you'll be as pleased with this company as we have been.

Chasing Chickens in Colorado and Kansas Good birding adventure, missed White-tailed Ptarmigan. May need another site since Loveland Pass is heavily used and birded. A little more advanced information on leks and blinds would have been helpful for personal preparation. Good group of participants and size. Van could have been more user friendly for luggage.

The tour was wonderful The tour was wonderful - covering almost 2,000 miles from Curitiba to Belo Horizonte and discovering 458 species of birds. Beautiful sights! Nick Athanas is an expert bird finder and is fascinating to watch. Also picked up some good photo tips from him. We already miss the place and want to do it again!
