GBFirebird a disappointment Fragmented service. Poor English skills. Misrepresentation of services. Example: we paid premium price for driver and car, private, but received only a taxi cab, which I could’ve taken care of myself. Had to get another driver for one leg of our trip, because the one assigned to us gave us the impression he was falling asleep at the wheel, and had no meaningful English skills. Difficult to get responses on emails. Poor telephone service and callbacks. Very unlikely to use this company again.

GBI would highly recommend Firebird… I would highly recommend Firebird Tours. I just came back from Portugal and had an amazing time. Natalia and her team are the best. They choose amazing tours for us and the guides they work with are top notch. Everything was so easy. They really listened to what we were looking for in a trip and were so friendly and easy to work with. I look forward to planning my next trip with them

NZWould not use Firebird again Firebird is incredibily difficult to deal with. With every difficulty a different person would answer. It was hard to make them understand exactly what we wanted regarding hotel rooms, and when it came to paying we were given three different bank account numbers. I was beginning to think we had been scammed. The trip itself was great. We visited wonderful places and mostly the guides and drivers worked out well, Although the Oslo driver didn’t turn up, and the one meeting us at the airport came with no sign so we didn't know who he was. Overall we loved the places we went to but wouldn't use Firebird again because they were too frustrating to deal with.

GBGreat individualized service and communication This was our first trip to Europe and a special celebration for my wife and I. 17 days in Austria and Rome. Firebird handled all in-country transportation and lodging, and several personal or small group tours. I never worked with a tour company before and did not know anyone who had worked with Firebird previously, so I was a bit hesitant. However, I was extremely pleased with Firebird's personalized service, communication, professionalism, and attention to detail / special requests. I felt like I had a personalized travel agent who assisted us with each step of the process, and whose goal was to identify what was important to us individually. The hotels they suggested or agreed upon were excellent and competitively priced. Their in-country transportation services (airports to hotel and city to city) were excellent with one exception regarding emailed train tickets which required a work around. The tour leaders they selected were very good. The thing I appreciated most about the Firebird services was their responsive communication during all phases, and their ability to incorporate all our specific requests. I thought their pricing was very reasonable for the level of service and expertise we were provided.

GBFirst trip to Italy This was my first trip to Italy and using Firebird. They did a great job and were very attentive. They followed our flight from Dublin to Venice and recognized we had two delays. Our driver in Venice was right there when we finally arrived and took us to the water taxi which took us very close to our hotel. My only concern was the length of the various tours. Seven out of the 8 people in our group were senior citizens and all 8 agreed the 4 hours of touring and walking was tiring, and after a while people started tuning out the guide. It would be most welcomed if there was a break in the middle. All our guides were very knowledgeable and considerate. Transportation was handled very well. I would use Firebird again and recommend them to others planning a trip. At Firebird I corresponded with Greta and she always got back to me promptly and answered all my questions.
