NZWould not use Firebird again Firebird is incredibily difficult to deal with. With every difficulty a different person would answer. It was hard to make them understand exactly what we wanted regarding hotel rooms, and when it came to paying we were given three different bank account numbers. I was beginning to think we had been scammed. The trip itself was great. We visited wonderful places and mostly the guides and drivers worked out well, Although the Oslo driver didn’t turn up, and the one meeting us at the airport came with no sign so we didn't know who he was. Overall we loved the places we went to but wouldn't use Firebird again because they were too frustrating to deal with.

GBCelebrating my 70th Birthday in Italy I contacted several companies about doing a customized, private tour in Italy as I could not find a group tour that included everything we wanted to see. I went with Firebird because they always responded to my emails quickly, even on weekends. They never dropped the ball with us. That's what impressed me the most as the other companies waited until Monday to get back to me. The trip was my dream trip to celebrate my birthday. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. Everywhere we went we had a driver and/or tour guide waiting for us. We just looked for our names. The drivers were courteous and safe drivers. We had delightful tour guides, and we hated to say goodbye to them at the end of the tour. At least two of our tour guides taught English to kids during the day. They also spoke several different languages. Sometimes the drivers were not as fluent in English. My husband would plug a question into his phone and bring that same question up in Italian. Then he would speak the question to the person in Italian. We did not have communication issues. We asked for and got 4/5 star hotels. We enjoyed all of them. Breakfast was included with the rooms and always good. We were surprised with a complementary bottle of wine from the company in honor of my birthday. Our trip took us from Venice to Florence, a day in Assisi, on to Rome, Vatican City, Sorrento, Pompeii and Capri Island. It also included a day trip up the Amalfi Coast. After our tour of Pompeii, we were given coupons for a free pizza and pop at a local restaurant, complements of Firebird. We appreciated little things like that. We traveled by private driver, train and a motorboat. We had one glitch along the way, but I did an instant chat with Firebird. They got back to me right away and told us what to do and where to go. We highly recommend Firebird and will use their services again.

GBWonderful trip This was our first trip with Firebird Tours but definitely won't be the last. Alex P was our agent and so helpful & responsive to all questions or concerns. Hotels, transport, guides were fantastic. Minor issues were addressed by Firebird immediately. Highly recommend Firebird.

GBSecond Firebird trip, but not the last This is the second Firebird trip our family has taken. As a well-traveled and tech-savvy millennial, I couldn’t imagine traveling again without Firebird. The painful logistics, transportation, and tours are all carefully arranged and taken care of in the most convenient manner. It’s changed the way we travel forever and we will be using Firebird again in the future; it was worth every penny.

GBFirebird a disappointment Fragmented service. Poor English skills. Misrepresentation of services. Example: we paid premium price for driver and car, private, but received only a taxi cab, which I could’ve taken care of myself. Had to get another driver for one leg of our trip, because the one assigned to us gave us the impression he was falling asleep at the wheel, and had no meaningful English skills. Difficult to get responses on emails. Poor telephone service and callbacks. Very unlikely to use this company again.
