Off The Beaten Path Tour of Provence is Perfection. We were very happy with how we were accommodated with the hotel, the transportation and the meals. Christy has designed a perfect tour of beautiful surroundings, history and culture. Phillipe and Summer, our guides are incredibly friendly and took very good care of us the entire time. They provided information about each place which added to our connection and enjoyment of the places. Our driver Phillipe2 was excellent, always friendly and drove safely. We spent the month in France, but this week with our Off the Beaten Path guides and the group stood out and we will cherish our memories of our tour always. Carrie and Bill

I loved having a variety of plans andโ€ฆ I loved having a variety of plans and activities that ranged from castles to cooking. Our extremely knowledgeable leader kept the group on track without ever seeming over-bearing. Great boutique hotel. It was just an incredibly fun experience. I highly recommend participating in the optional hot air balloon ride. Small group with two small vans rather than a big coach. Lots of walking.

A History Lovers Dream Take this tour if you love French history, wine and cuisine. Knowledgeable guides painted pictures of life when French kings built chateaux and lived in the Loire Valley. Distinguished chefs gave delightful cooking lessons and created wonderful meals. Tastings of chocolate and wine were an added treat. This is a trip we will always remember fondly.

A Week in Provence A great fun week in Provence with Christy and our very capable guides, Phillipe and David. A wide range of activities, walking, fine dining, wine tasting, cooking classes and chocolate making. Our fellow travelers were all from the US and just the nicest people. The Cassis trip was a little long and may have benefited from a group lunch and slightly earlier departure time. Hotel Gounod was, for us, with a large bedroom, rustic and enjoyable, though, as Kiwis, we missed the opportunity to make a hot tea brew in our room, as there was no in room kettle. Minor points though, that did not detract from our overall enjoyment.
