NZA Week in Provence A great fun week in Provence with Christy and our very capable guides, Phillipe and David. A wide range of activities, walking, fine dining, wine tasting, cooking classes and chocolate making. Our fellow travelers were all from the US and just the nicest people. The Cassis trip was a little long and may have benefited from a group lunch and slightly earlier departure time. Hotel Gounod was, for us, with a large bedroom, rustic and enjoyable, though, as Kiwis, we missed the opportunity to make a hot tea brew in our room, as there was no in room kettle. Minor points though, that did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

SGWe enjoyed the trip so much We enjoyed the trip so much, our guides Philippe and David were very professional, humorous and knowledgeable. On our last day, Philippe took us to buy cheese and olive paste which we brought back to Singapore. Whenever we enjoy our cheese with champagne, all the beautiful memories from off the beaten path will surface in our mind. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

GBLoire valley tour, by Off the Beaten Path Absolutely everything was great! The knowledge of the region was mind boggling thanks to our tour guide Christy. What a fount of knowledge she is! And all the support staff, especially Christine, the hotel, the van rides, and the castles were superb, to say the least. And the ever-present Loire river. How perfect a setting. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone!

GBI loved having a variety of plans and… I loved having a variety of plans and activities that ranged from castles to cooking. Our extremely knowledgeable leader kept the group on track without ever seeming over-bearing. Great boutique hotel. It was just an incredibly fun experience. I highly recommend participating in the optional hot air balloon ride. Small group with two small vans rather than a big coach. Lots of walking.

GBA Curated Visit of France's Champagne Region This was my third tour with France Off the Beaten Path. It was a masterfully curated tour: Moet et Chandon, Ruinart, Pommery, Nicolas Feuillatte. The restaurants chosen by owner, Christy Destremau, were wonderful. She goes above and beyond to deliver an amazing experience. Equally enjoyable was reconnecting with a friend from the Bordeaux tour in 2022, Peggy Gorman. Peggy and I are already planning another tour!
