GBA memorable vacation with personal touches in every detail! Christie and her team did not disappoint - again! This was our second tour with France Off the Beaten Path and will not be our last. Christie and her team made our Loire Valley vacation memorable, fun and adventurous. The itinerary was filled with food, wine, castles, laughs, history - and so much more. Christie's passion for travel is contagious and we look forward to our next trip! - Dana and Kyle

GBI loved having a variety of plans and… I loved having a variety of plans and activities that ranged from castles to cooking. Our extremely knowledgeable leader kept the group on track without ever seeming over-bearing. Great boutique hotel. It was just an incredibly fun experience. I highly recommend participating in the optional hot air balloon ride. Small group with two small vans rather than a big coach. Lots of walking.

GBLoire Valley Delight NO HOTEL HOPPING caught my eye! Everything we needed was there for us. The Loire Valley Tour was a fantastic experience. Guide, Christy, was so knowledgeable concerning the royalty and four chateaux, even humorous but so interesting. Our chauffeur, Christine drove us carefully from city to city and threw in many interesting tidbits regarding French history, as she is a native of the area. The cooking classes (and eating and drinking absolutely delicious wine from the area) were a favorite of mine...hands on experience with the best master chefs. I was able to cook some of these recipes when I returned home. Thank you to Damien, Louisa and Fred, Angelique and Christoph, our master chefs who welcomed us into their homes or restaurant. The OTBP Loire Valley Tour does not disappoint, it delights!!! Merci, Pat Weichle

CALovely 5 days Lovely 5 days. One hotel and reasonable pace of activities, not to mention the perfect weather made for an enjoyable " tour". Highlights were wine tasting and lunch in Chateau Neuf de Pape and swimming in the sea in the pretty town of Cassis. Despite how close to perfect it all was I still find the cost to be very high. I guess my Canadian dollar doesn't go very far!

NZA Week in Provence A great fun week in Provence with Christy and our very capable guides, Phillipe and David. A wide range of activities, walking, fine dining, wine tasting, cooking classes and chocolate making. Our fellow travelers were all from the US and just the nicest people. The Cassis trip was a little long and may have benefited from a group lunch and slightly earlier departure time. Hotel Gounod was, for us, with a large bedroom, rustic and enjoyable, though, as Kiwis, we missed the opportunity to make a hot tea brew in our room, as there was no in room kettle. Minor points though, that did not detract from our overall enjoyment.
