However, the rate offered by them was $1.47 to the £. The FxCompany's rate was 1.34, almost 9% better. I posted the currency as per their security instructions, have an acknowledgement the following afternoon and the funds appeared in my bank account that evening. What not to like?

It was slightly more than the online estimate provided on Tuesday. To my surprise the money was in my bank account this morning, Thursday. I could not have expected anything better.
