GBFor this CPA OnPay has been a reliable "go to" solution. For this CPA, OnPay has been a reliable "go to" solution. My parents are older, and we have hired two care-givers to ensure their daily needs are well-supported. Ensuring they are paid legally, with all appropriate taxes paid out means that we need payroll help. I set up the entity and OnPay helps me do the rest. Not too expensive, just enough help & support, and very reliable. They have come through when preparing tax reports and filing quarterly'ies with both Federal and State.

GBOnPay software fails and no resolution after 1 mth OnPay customer for 6 years and was a fan. I have now lost all trust as they have failed to resolve an issue caused by their software failure. One pay run failed resulting in some employees paid twice and others not at all. Customer Service was cordial but I have been told for a month that the development team was working on it and would provide an update. Not one update from them and the reporting is still wrong in their system. It's December and I doubt the W2's will be right. After multiple calls, emails, and now having to constantly check for errors this has become a massive waste of time. I am switching providers asap.

GBOnPay Rocks! I have done payroll for years and OnPay takes all of the difficulty out of payroll! Honestly they have a great app and a terrific team of people. They handle all of the standardized Federal and State Reporting. Even during the pandemic they were set up and ready to go for PPP and ERTC assistance. I barely lifted a finger, just exported reports that OnPay had developed to meet the requirements for the PPP and ERTC. I confirmed the IRS requirements were met and just forwarded the reports to our CPA's. On the rare occasion that I have to ask for help they are always available and supportive!

GBA massive waste of time Update to initial review: EVEN WORSE. Despite the message below from OnPay, I now (nearly three weeks later) just received ANOTHER two letters from the EDD about underpayments from Q3 of last year when OnPay was managing my payroll. I just wrapped another hour long phone call with the EDD trying to get this fixed. Honestly, it is a nightmare working with OnPay. Save yourself before you start! I used OnPay for nearly a year to payroll one part-time employee for my company and it was a complete disaster. They misfiled so many times that I was getting constant streams of bills from the EDD and now I have a credit with the EDD that it's going to take more than a quarter to get returned. Worse than that, I had to spend roughly 40 hours on the phone with OnPay customer support and the EDD to get it all worked out. All of this for one employee who worked a total of less than 200 hours in the whole year! It was a massive waste of my time and productivity. It would have been simpler to learn to do payroll myself. I switched to a new company in the fall and I couldn't be happier. Save yourself the time and the frustration.

GBMy small business payroll needs are… My small business payroll needs are fairly simple. OnPay is easy to use for weekly payroll, and their handling of tax forms and integration with QuickBooks simplifies my life greatly. On rare occasions when I've needed help, responses have been prompt and accurate.
