GBOnPay software fails and no resolution after 1 mth OnPay customer for 6 years and was a fan. I have now lost all trust as they have failed to resolve an issue caused by their software failure. One pay run failed resulting in some employees paid twice and others not at all. Customer Service was cordial but I have been told for a month that the development team was working on it and would provide an update. Not one update from them and the reporting is still wrong in their system. It's December and I doubt the W2's will be right. After multiple calls, emails, and now having to constantly check for errors this has become a massive waste of time. I am switching providers asap.

GBI haven't tried any other payroll… I haven't tried any other payroll options. We found OnPay after researching the subject online. Been using it now for two years and it has been absolutely dead easy from the start and I have no training in bookkeeping, accounting, QuickBooks, etc. The interface is very intuitive. I handle all our employee payroll needs each week in about 5 minutes. Pay goes out via direct deposit. OnPay automatically takes care of all the details. And anytime I've called tech support they were extremely friendly, knowlegable, and able to answer any questions and solve the problem. I give them an A+.

GBOnPay provides a simple process for… OnPay provides a simple process for micro/small businesses. Migrating was relatively simple and OnPay staff were super helpful (plus, US-based) when I had questions. Running each payroll cycle is faster than our old service, plus OnPay made it easier for me to file my payroll taxes. I'm really pleased with OnPay overall - great service, friendly people.

GBA massive waste of time Update to initial review: EVEN WORSE. Despite the message below from OnPay, I now (nearly three weeks later) just received ANOTHER two letters from the EDD about underpayments from Q3 of last year when OnPay was managing my payroll. I just wrapped another hour long phone call with the EDD trying to get this fixed. Honestly, it is a nightmare working with OnPay. Save yourself before you start! I used OnPay for nearly a year to payroll one part-time employee for my company and it was a complete disaster. They misfiled so many times that I was getting constant streams of bills from the EDD and now I have a credit with the EDD that it's going to take more than a quarter to get returned. Worse than that, I had to spend roughly 40 hours on the phone with OnPay customer support and the EDD to get it all worked out. All of this for one employee who worked a total of less than 200 hours in the whole year! It was a massive waste of my time and productivity. It would have been simpler to learn to do payroll myself. I switched to a new company in the fall and I couldn't be happier. Save yourself the time and the frustration.

GBMoved to them right before closing down… Moved to them right before closing down this year for Covid. We've had to do lots of strange things because of the PPP loan.. Change banks, pay cycles, etc. The support at on pay has been fabulous! Also loving the ability to scan in employee documents. I'm just discovering the reports. They seem to be way better than our previous payroll provider. Thanks OnPay. We appreciate you!
