GBThis is THE place to stay when visiting NYC for the first time with an amazing view!. A GREAT VIEW, remodeled space and great staff! What more could you ask for? Our room was CLEAN, with plenty of room and a very MODERN design and layout. The location can't be beat. We pulled up to The Ravel at 9:30pm, unpacked our luggage, found a FREE parking spot, and hopped on a shuttle to the closest subway and was sitting down for dinner in TIME SQUARE by 10:30! Walking back to the Hotel at 2am we were a little nervous, but never saw a soul, just a few cars drove by. And did I mention THE VIEW!?! It was amazing! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to NYC. PLUS a very fair price!

GBExcellent Service and stunning view! I stayed at Ravel for my wedding and I could not be happier with their service. The staff was really nice, and always prompt whenever I need something. The hotel manager was very professional and really helpful. I got ready at their suit the day of my wedding, and needed several things that were not available at the room like an outlet extension lol and the staff provided me with one right away. Not only did i receive great service from the hotel staff, but also great views for picture. Their penthouse suit had a gorgeous view of the city and worked out great for some stunning shots. Their roof top offers just the same. Beautiful view of the city, and great for a nice romantic evening dinner. Whether you book a stay at Ravel or simply go to the rooftop for a nice dinner, the service and view will not disappoint. Friendly staff, awesome service, and stunning view!!!

GBRavel Hotel - New York The Ravel Hotel is in a good location overlooking Manhattan on the East River with fantastic views, the staff were helpful and friendly. There is a shuttle bus to the nearest subway station and it only takes about 10 minutes to Times Square, Central Park etc. so for all the attractions it ideally located. The hotel is generally clean and comfortable, the decor is not to everyone's taste but we thought it good and different. Okay the actual area where the hotel is cited is not particularly pretty but we thought it safe enough to walk at night in the area and from the subway etc. It could do with a little updating\makeover and general improvements but maybe this will happen once the new wing is open. Not too bad overall.

GBThe Ravel is an easy commute and a great NY bargain. We were not sure staying in Long Island City across from Manhattan would work out. It works just fine! The Ravel shuttle can whisk you to subway stations and in a few short minutes, you're enjoying New York. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
