Enjoyed meeting people as much as the food. Quyen is very knowledgeable, kept us well informed and prepared for each day’s activities. He provided insights into life and culture. His good humor and enthusiasm kept us all engaged. The use of WhatsApp to communicate works well. The extension to Angkor Wat fulfilled a longstanding bucket list item. It more than exceeded expectations. Dara knows the temple complex well and provides interesting insight. Loved the cooking class. We hired Dara for the extra day we planned and he showed us 3 temples less visited. Cambodia was a more laid back experience after the busy cities in Vietnam. Overall a very good trip.

Atlas Obscura culinary adventure with Quyen and Canh This was a truly wonderful trip with the most interesting, funny, well informed, caring guides Quyen and Canh. They looked after us beautifully, solved all our problems, taught us so much about Vietnamese food, culture and history and created a happy relaxed atmosphere for our little crew. Canh invited over his home where he prepared some traditional dishes, delicious! Another standout on this trip was the local market visits throughout the country, it really brought our the regional differences in Vietnam's cuisine- every in the same dishes, such as pho. One of the best trips of our lives- so much so, we are already planning to return.
