Amazing Adventure in Costa Rica From beginning to end Classic Journeys was a joy to work with. Planning a family trip for nine (5 adults/4 teenagers) could have been a nightmare. However, Classic Journeys provided us with a dream vacation. Our guide was fantastic and our own comfortable van and driver made touring hassle-free. Costa Rica is rich with flora and fauna, glorious seaside to majestic volcanos, wonderful food and welcoming people. One of our highlights was a visit to a local K-6 school. The children performed for us and interacted with our family. A delightful experience. Go! You'll love it!!

Costa Rica with Classic Journey's Very pleased with Classic Journey's. Our guide and driver were both outstanding (knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and great at spotting wildlife). The properties, and rooms/suites were excellent. Included meals were, generally good to very good (especially breakfasts). Included activities, and options, generally, suited clients with varying physical capabilities and desires although some could have been better coordinated. Highlights were the thermal springs at Tabacon resort neat Arenal volcano, kayaking, the Pardor resort overlooking the ocean, and the wildlife (,monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocs, and birds of many varieties).

Great guides Great guides, great accommodations for a family of 2 and a family of 11. 2 of us took the Amazon extension and didn't know what to expect....but it exceeded expectations with excellent guides into a jungle ride that was unlike anything I ever did. Warning...lots of walking through jungles is tough slogging. We joined the rest of our family in the Galapagos at the the airport in Quito and met our guide for the first time.....What a guy. A naturalist, sportsman, a gentleman and humorist. Our only glitch was with the original reservations...slow to respond to questions. But, it was worth it.

Perfect in every way Perfect in every way. This was my third trip with Classic Journeys. Ever detail is arranged to give you a luxury vacation that is both adventurous and pampered. Imagine a 5 star hotel, with a private patio, looking out over an Ancient Greek temple. Breakfast over looking the Mediterranean. Dinner served by a 5 star Michelin chef. A hike up an active volcano. Multi-sport trip to Iceland We travel a lot, but just took our first trip with Classic Journeys a few weeks ago. Our small group "multi-sport" trip to Iceland was simply wonderful, from glacier hikes and ice caves, to riding Icelandic horses on the black sand beach, to hiking or snorkeling in the mid-Atlantic rift between tectonic plates. Our guide was one of the best we've ever had, incredibly knowledgable and just fun to be with. We'll travel with Classic Journeys again!
