Perfect in every way Perfect in every way. This was my third trip with Classic Journeys. Ever detail is arranged to give you a luxury vacation that is both adventurous and pampered. Imagine a 5 star hotel, with a private patio, looking out over an Ancient Greek temple. Breakfast over looking the Mediterranean. Dinner served by a 5 star Michelin chef. A hike up an active volcano. Well organized, informative trips by Classic Journeys This was our second Classic Journeys trip. They excel at being well organized and taking seamless care of all the details that people take organized trips for -- ie. hotel reservations, bus and plane transport,meals, guides, entry fees, etc. We have had excellent guides that enhanced our trip experience. Not so active, but they really provide good basis for cultural and historical learning.

Our superb, experienced, caring, responsible and fun guide, Alessandro along with the beautiful people who made up our group enhanced the beauty of our Classic Journeys experience. The tour itself was true to the itinerary outlined when I booked our tour. It was truly a “walking and cultural experience “ each and every day. We tasted wine, amazing cheeses, unique and incredible dining experiences (a different place each night). We visited less tourist driven villages and really got to feel the heartbeat of Tuscany. I loved each of our hotels as well as “The Villa” we stayed in. Each place had its own unique character and charm as well as luxury as defined with the context of the hotel. There is “a walk” scheduled each day with the option to stay on the bus and ride to the end destination. By the way our driver Michela was superb. I have high expectations and I was not disappointed or dissatisfied at any point. Enjoy your classic Journey!!

Our trip to Tuscany and Cinque Terre… Our trip to Tuscany and Cinque Terre was fantastic with Classic Journeys. Our guide, Luciano, was absolutely the best! Not only was he unbelievably knowledgeable but he thought of every single detail to make our trip so memorable. It was as if every stop and experience was perfectly curated just for us.(the scenery, the visit to the sheep farm with the unbelievable freshly made pecorino, the lovely villa where we stayed in Tuscany, hiking stops for photos at just the right spots, the restaurants that provided the true taste of Tuscany, and even the evening serenade of Italian songs on our way home from dinner--all made us feel very special.)
