GB"Everything went well." "Everything went well." The price paid was significantly lower than the brand website.

GBProblem solver - yes!!! Recently, there was an issue with Easirent, a company that AutoRentals booked for me. When I informed them of some extraneous charges, Chris, a dedicated customer service agent, went to work, dealing with Easirent for me! I am currently expecting a refund, thanks to AutoRentals, who stood behind their customer service promise. It’s not often that I find such a company - I recommend them to one and all!!!

GBTHE ABSOLUTE WORST AUTO RENTAL CON-PANY The deceptive practices trying to force you to purchase their insurance. I had my personal insurance card, but the clerk insisted she needed to see my policy. What insurance company requests the policy and who carries their policy. I had to call my insurance company, have them email. The clerk was rude the moment I declines their insurance and made my experience the worst EVER and I've rented vehicles, high end rental agencies and never had these issues. Then I look at the document to see they were about to charge me $1,000 deposit for a regular Camry and when I asked about it, I was told, "if I had purchased their insurance, it would have only been $250. Once again, trying to make you purchase their insurance. HORRIBLE and I'll be writing reviews to every outlet. I've already completed the BBB. Every Customer in the building was complaining about the how horrible Economy was. They have they right name, E-CON

GBAlways seem to have the lowest prices I regularly fly to US/Canada and have always used AutoRentals.com for car rental. They always seem to have the lowest prices. The website gives you the charges in the local currency and in GBP. I have never paid upfront allowing you to cancel without any penalty up to the day of rental. The conformation received is the actual price you pay in local currency. They represent a large range of rental companies with a wide choice of vehicle types. However in cases for North America, the rates are only for the rental and generally does not include any vehicle insurance, CDW or excess. For that reason the rates remain low. So the renter must provide their own insurance or take out the Rental companies own insurance per day which then inflates the final price. My suggestion for the renter is to purchase an annual rental excess insurance from the UK. They are not expensive and that will avoid having to take out expensive car rental insurance with the rental agency. Take two copies of the policy document showing the name of the Insurance company, insured name, policy number, coverage amounts and any excess. Many insurance companies also include CDW insurance for US and Canada. Hand one copy of the policy to the rental agency to keep with the rental agreement. In case of damage to the vehicle, you do have to pay upfront and then claim back from the insurance and will involve lots of paperwork. I have had to make a claim once, but for me I will most probably continue to use Autorentals.com

GBInsurance4carhire policy rejected in Vancouver car rental office. On arrival in Vancouver at the start of a 5 week car hire rental we were told that our AIG 'Insurance4carhire' was not recognised by by Ace Rental, our car hire company. We were therefore obliged to take their insurance wihich was a significant amount as the hire was over 5 weeks. So we contacted Autorentals some time later and asked for clarification so that we could take up the matter with AIG when returning to England. Chris at Autorentals took up and resolved the issue which resulted with us being issued a full refund Thank you and well done Autorentals.
