GBBought 1st time e-tickets online Bought 1st time e-tickets online, arrived at 9 on a Monday to pick up tickets and get skiing. Expected a quick visit to ticket booth, but lines at all windows, and two windows to handle e tickets. It took 30 minutes in line to get to window. At the window, pleasant help and it took 2 min to get our tickets. Can't figure how it took 30 min. Needed more windows open, or e-ticket ONLY windows. Employees in rentals, lodge and bar all super pleasant and helpful. Lift crews not particularly helpful - know they're there for safety, but ought to know the trails and runs so as to be able to offer a suggestion.

GBMt High is definitely 5 stars if you… Mt High is definitely 5 stars if you live in Southern California. Just imagine that it snowed 6 inches yesterday, then today you go up to Mt High and it's 55 to 60 degrees sunny California. Awesome for snowboard terrain park, lots of features all along the main trails. Season pass is affordable and worth it. Mt High is definitely great if you like to do park stuff or enjoying short speedy all mountain trails. But if you prefer long lengthy trails or lots of trails to explore, then go somewhere else like Big Bear or Mammoth.

GBClose to home winter paradise For the average Los Angelino, Mountain High is a winter paradise. Ski season opens earlier and runs later than anywhere else in SoCal, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the West resort offers plenty of paths for skiers and snowboarders of all grades. Sure, sometimes it's a bit icy (first thing in the morning) but I've found that once I've given the snowboarders a good hour to scrape off any crust, it's a fine day on the slopes. I learned to ski here, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I've got nothing but love for Mountain High. Short drive from my home, no crazy windy mountain roads, never need chains or AWD to get up there, it's "accessible" in every sense.

GBClose to LA, well equipped. Pros: Close to home, Well equipped. Long season with snowmaking. No long lines for chairlifts. Great for beginners: free magic carpet and occasionally a beginner chairlift, lots of lesson options, there is a team for seriously skiing kids led by volunteers. Ski in/out right from the main parking lot. Cons: Deadlock traffic on the road during peak holidays, Not enough snowmaking (hoping for improvement!) to keep East resort open at dry winters. Not that much terrain.

GBCustomer Service Agent The customer service agent was the worst, she did not answer any of my question. And she even refused to answer my call after many of tries. I was just asking for questions about Mountain High’s season pass and rentals. She is the worse agent I have ever seen in my life. She is did not even answer any of my questions, and she was frustrated and had no patience. I hope you can make a change on this situation, I am changing my views on Mountain High by the way they act.
