Positive Experience My husband and I want to commend Daniela Inocencio. Due to an unforeseen medical situation we needed to make changes to a holiday booked through Railbookers. Daniela proved to be the best person to work with when coping with these changes. She made our planning so much smoother and did not get annoyed with the MANY questions and changes that were done throughout the planning process! She responded to our questions in a helpful and timely manner and is so wonderful to speak with over the telephone. In our opinion as a representative of Railbookers, Daniela has put the company in a very positive light, we highly commend Daniela due to her efforts on our behalf. AVOID THIS COMPANY AVOID THIS COMPANY Travelling from New Zealand ( thats 23 hour’s flying time people) for a trip of a lifetime We thought use a company with professional knowledge of Scotland Tours where organised that took us a whole day of travel, 12 hours, taking us back to within 20minutes of the previous day’s locations A sad and very upsetting experience. A company who know nothing about Scotlands geography A birthday ruined Money and time wasted After submitting the above posting I had an overnight response from Railbookers After sharing fully the double booking issues a refund was provided. In addition a customer care voucher in the amount of 150 pounds was also given by Railbookers. Agreement and resolution After a prompt response from Railbookers and several followup conversations I'm editing my review. I specifically want to thank AJ. We agreed that mistakes were made during the booking process and also agreed to a satisfactory resolution.

Switzerland trip Railbookers organised a fantastic trip around Southern Switzerland at extremely short notice. The staff member we spoke to was so patient with us as we gave him a number of options that we were thinking about. He went away and came back within an hour with a detailed itinerary that met our requirements perfectly. The whole trip was organised within 60 minutes. The holiday that followed was superb. Great hotels backed up by an 8 day Swiss pass that covered train, bus and boat journeys. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Great journey to, time in Cinque Terre, and journey home. This was a return visit to Cinque Terre & travelling there by rail was interesting. The villages are now very busy & you need to choose carefully where to go each day, remembering the paths can be very steep in the heat but the views are great. Many excellent bars and restaurants available. I can recommend the upgrade to first class for the longer rail journeys.
