The company is a scam! This Brian Johns ripped us off of all our money for an Italy trip of a party of 12. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

Great value for the price Great value for the price, air, hotels, transportation and tours. Had some minor issues with land tour operators as they used independent local tour operators and the information they received did not always coordinate with what Mainly gave them. The full day local tour guides were great. The only major problem was they gave us the wrong pick up time at the hotel for the Dhow Dinner cruise in Dubai and we waited in the hotel lobby for over 2 1/2 hours! Overall the itinerary and tours were done well.

I have used Mainly Vacations over and… I have used Mainly Vacations over and over again on travel both for flights for short trips domestically as well as for my yearly vacations with my husband internationally. Their knowledgeable staff really helps since I don't always know exactly where I want to go. They have never steered me wrong and I've always had a great time. I will continue to use them.

DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS!!! We were a group of 11 who booked a trip to the Almalfi Coast with Brian John and he stole our money and didn’t book anything. We checked with the transportation companies and hotels that he claimed to make reservations with and they all confirmed that he never made any reservations and they never even heard of him. He claimed afterwards that someone in our group cancelled the entire trip with someone named “Luigi” ( our trip was to Italy ) which was nothing but a big fat lie! Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company so your vacation is not ruined like ours instead of using this lying scam artist!

Potential to be 5 star Potential to be 5 star. This tour was amazing and a strong value. Communication was not optimal, but knowing what to expect in that area- I would book again with this company. Airline seating for my party was NEVER together and no one seemed able to help. I expected more after hearing rave reviews about United Emirates. I am unsure why some in our group of 18 were able to pre-assign seats, while others were unable to. Clearer communication would greatly optimize as flights were over night and longer than 8 hours. An itinerary with each hotel would be an added bonus. I saw other agents itineraries posted in the lobby of the 2nd hotel. Updates were NOT on the phone app we were encouraged to download. We had to elect a group leader, who made sure everyone was aware of changes. At the end of the day- it was still a great value with top notch tours.
