Fraud Fraud! DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS. reference a previous post by the Gummos....brain John's never booked our trip to the almalfi coast. Leaving 11 people stranded at the lamezia train station...no vouchers no hotel reservations no transfers. We called hotels and verified he never made the reservations. Never sent documents in his travel app. Tried to blame It on our "group leader" however kathy and randy did contact him to find out why we never recieved info. We did. Ot change the reservation or request cancellation....he never made the reservations.....we are now collecting names of others to formulate a class action law suit.....DO NOT BOOK WITH MAINLY VACATIONS OR BRIAN JOHN

Plan on Using Them Again Soon My sister and I used Mainly Vacation to visit Greece and Dubai. Brian called us before our trip and informed us that the tour before us had problems with the local tour company so they were going to use a different local company. We were picked up at the airport as planned and taken to our hotel. I could tell that Mainly Vacations was working out some bugs with the new local company, but we were kept informed the entire time. We received everything that we paid for. We had a great time in Athens, Santorini and Mykonos. In fact, we plan on going back next year. Because of the problems experienced with the new tour company, Brian upgraded us to the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai. It was spectacular. We're planning on doing the Croatia cruise with Mainly Vacation in the very near future.

Overall Good Trip Value - above average for the price.but not excellent Lodging - excellent (Athens, Santorini, Mykonos & Dubai) Guide support - outstanding in Athens; good in Santorini & Mykonos; less than satisfactory in Dubai. We had to negotiate for the bus to take the group back to the hotel, versus being left at the mall and securing our transportation. Emirates -- difficulty checking in online; not assigned a seat next to your travel partner to Athens & Dubai Emirates changed baggage policy on February 1, 2019, MV should have spearheaded a discussion with the airline to ensure no problems. Considering the fact that MV was paid long before Feb. 1st. I hold MV totally responsible for the poor seat assignments and not being willing to speak to airlines on our behalf. Finally, the travel APP would not work (or load properly) on my IPhone 7. Some in our group which did have access notice the APP was inadequate because there weren't any updates with revisions.

I just finished reading the reviews… I just finished reading the reviews posted against Mainly Vacations and almost every one written is exactly the same problem I experienced, We booked a trip in Sept. 2018 for Italy in July 2019. Three weeks before the trip when I had not yet received any paperwork about the trip although been told numerous times all flights were arranged, I was finally told the trip was cancelled as it was a small group tour and 12 other passengers cancelled. We, too, were offered the independent tour but as we are in our 70s and taking our 12 year old granddaughter, we did not feel comfortable doing this. According to the terms and conditions, our deposit and final payment would be refunded. We received our final payment but have not yet received the $1,200 deposit. I have been told many times, that it would be coming. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau with the hopes of getting my money back. Although their tours sound interesting, I would not trust this company to make it happen.

I like don't do reviews but seriously I… I like don't do reviews but seriously I have recommended Mainly to all of my friends and everyone else deserves to know just how great everything went. I literally had the best vacation of my life!!! Everything was so nice and planned so good. Ive tried diying stuff before but it ends up stressing me out and Ive done stuff like once I booked my train to go from Florence to Bologna at the wrong time so I missed it and literally cried in the station. But anyways this time NO STRESS!!!! Tours were amazing, hotels were incredible. I just can't believe how easy and nice everything and everyone was. I'm never not booking with these guys again.
