GBBest customer service ever! Our trip to Rome, Sorrento, and the Amalfi coast was full of beauty, fun. Adventure, and fabulous food. Mainly vacations put together the most wonderful tours, along with free time at each location. We had some challenges on our trip such as a cancelled flight, and a change in our tour group size, but everything was managed and compensated for by our contact. Brian John, who kept in touch the entire trip and helped where needed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to see the South of Italy, and learn about the history and geography of the area.

GBI just finished reading the reviews… I just finished reading the reviews posted against Mainly Vacations and almost every one written is exactly the same problem I experienced, We booked a trip in Sept. 2018 for Italy in July 2019. Three weeks before the trip when I had not yet received any paperwork about the trip although been told numerous times all flights were arranged, I was finally told the trip was cancelled as it was a small group tour and 12 other passengers cancelled. We, too, were offered the independent tour but as we are in our 70s and taking our 12 year old granddaughter, we did not feel comfortable doing this. According to the terms and conditions, our deposit and final payment would be refunded. We received our final payment but have not yet received the $1,200 deposit. I have been told many times, that it would be coming. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau with the hopes of getting my money back. Although their tours sound interesting, I would not trust this company to make it happen.

GBOverall Good Trip Value - above average for the price.but not excellent Lodging - excellent (Athens, Santorini, Mykonos & Dubai) Guide support - outstanding in Athens; good in Santorini & Mykonos; less than satisfactory in Dubai. We had to negotiate for the bus to take the group back to the hotel, versus being left at the mall and securing our transportation. Emirates -- difficulty checking in online; not assigned a seat next to your travel partner to Athens & Dubai Emirates changed baggage policy on February 1, 2019, MV should have spearheaded a discussion with the airline to ensure no problems. Considering the fact that MV was paid long before Feb. 1st. I hold MV totally responsible for the poor seat assignments and not being willing to speak to airlines on our behalf. Finally, the travel APP would not work (or load properly) on my IPhone 7. Some in our group which did have access notice the APP was inadequate because there weren't any updates with revisions.

GBTrip was fantastic Trip was fantastic! Beyond the issue with out flights being cancelled on the way to Greece I dont have any complaints. A suggestion would be to tell people important items to bring like a wind breaker because my research said spring temps and it was actually cold.
