Trip to Israel Getting through the security of El Al at JFK was a headache and I was concerned that the trip to Israel would be like vacationing in a prison. However, to the contrary! Once we landed in Tel Aviv, ground transportation was set up to take us to our hotel. There were wonderful tour guides and drivers to take us around. We also flew to Jerusalem with no issue. The sights were awesome and the hotels we stayed in were just incredible. This trip was well organized and probably the best experience I’ve had overall.

Best customer service ever! Our trip to Rome, Sorrento, and the Amalfi coast was full of beauty, fun. Adventure, and fabulous food. Mainly vacations put together the most wonderful tours, along with free time at each location. We had some challenges on our trip such as a cancelled flight, and a change in our tour group size, but everything was managed and compensated for by our contact. Brian John, who kept in touch the entire trip and helped where needed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to see the South of Italy, and learn about the history and geography of the area.

Aegean Vacay My experience was great. This was my first time going to Greece as well as taking a cruise. The vacation package I selected from Mainly Vacations was very accommodating. From the time my family, friends and I arrived in Athens we were greeted by friendly and hospitable people. From the hotel staff Athenian Callirhoe hotel to the Celestyal Cruise crew felt welcome.The tour guides were very informative. I was able to gain so much knowledge on Greek culture on my brief stay. I will definitely book with Mainly Vacations again.

Potential to be 5 star Potential to be 5 star. This tour was amazing and a strong value. Communication was not optimal, but knowing what to expect in that area- I would book again with this company. Airline seating for my party was NEVER together and no one seemed able to help. I expected more after hearing rave reviews about United Emirates. I am unsure why some in our group of 18 were able to pre-assign seats, while others were unable to. Clearer communication would greatly optimize as flights were over night and longer than 8 hours. An itinerary with each hotel would be an added bonus. I saw other agents itineraries posted in the lobby of the 2nd hotel. Updates were NOT on the phone app we were encouraged to download. We had to elect a group leader, who made sure everyone was aware of changes. At the end of the day- it was still a great value with top notch tours.

My husband and I purchased the Italy… My husband and I purchased the Italy Renaissance Cities tour with Mainly Vacations. Upon our arrival in Rome we found out that the other 22 people that were suppose to be on the tour with us did not make the flight. So two 70 year old people that had not been to Italy before were on their own. Mainly contacted us everyday and gave us directions and information on our tours but we had to navigate the tours, the taxis, the train -dining. It was stressful but worked out. We have written confirmation that Mainly would reimburse us for our expenses - they have acknowledged that they have our receipts. We also have written confirmation of $500 that would be refunded to us due to the issue with the tour. After months of correspondence, Mainly no longer responds and we have not received any reimbursement. Very disappointed
