Bucket list trip to Patagonia (Argentina + Chile) I worked with Garvey to plan my dream trip to Patagonia. It was a two-week trip, we started in Buenos Aires, took the Australis cruise through the Tierra del Fuego fjords, visited Torres del Paine staying at the Explora Lodge and ended the trip in Santiago. All of the guides that Garvey arranged for excursions were excellent. Garvey managed the travel logistics between the different locations so that our experience in South America was seamless. Overall Lost World Adventures was a great travel agent for us. I had worked with this company previously for a trip to visit Angel Falls in Venezuela and hike the Machu Picchu trail in Peru, which was also fantastic.

For our trip to Costa Rica For our trip to Costa Rica, Lost World arranged for great lodges, good travel connections and a well organized itinerary. We had a limited amount of time, did not fit into any of the scheduled trips and were only 2 people. They catered our trip to top of the line locations and housing. Always make sure to let them know what you are interested in and what level of comfort you require, and discuss your preferences in planning.

Amazing Amazing! Antarctica 21 tour on Hebridian Sky surpassed our expectations. Ship was beautifully designed. Room comfy. Food was out of this world in variety, taste and servings. Staff on the ship were professional and helpful. Expedition crew took us on trips even they had not experienced. The only reason for the 4 star rating was the disembarkation process. The process was not discussed and we were left to locate our luggage under tarps on the dock in the rain. We then had to walk with our luggage on uneven pavement about 2 miles in the cold rain to locate our own taxi.

Andrew stole our money ($22,000) that… Andrew stole our money ($22,000) that we paid for a luxury Ecuador / Peru vacation. He also stole $8,000 from our friend that was meeting us in South America. He first took our calls in 2020-2021, then disconnected all numbers. We went to the credit card company, and were unable to get a refund. He is a scammer. Beware! The trip was in April 2020, but I finished with the credit card company in May 2022.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LOST WORLD ADVENTURES! I reached out to Responsible Travel through their website to inquire about a combined Machu Picchu/Galapagos trip. They responded on 2/26/19 saying they were a UK company and had turned over my request for information to Lost World who handles their Machu Picchu/Galapagos vacations. The same day I received an email from Garrett at Lost World and the next day a follow up phone call to discuss our desired vacation. He was to follow up with more detailed information. 2 weeks passed and I hadn't heard back from Lost World, so I emailed Garrett. Another week goes by so I called and left a message. The next day I receive an email apologizing for his delay in responding and promising to have something to me by the following day. 3 more days go by, still nothing! So, on 3/22 I send an email to Rosy at Responsible Travel. In their initial email contact on 2/26 they promise to get back within a week to follow up. 4 weeks had passed and still haven't heard from either company. Today is 3/28 and still haven't heard from either company. Moral to this story: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LOST WORLD ADVENTURES and if somehow you get hooked up with Responsible Travel WALK AWAY! Don't waste your time. If this is the type of service these two companies provide when trying to book a vacation, what's going to happened when you're on vacation? I shudder at the thought.
