GBAs close to a fraudulent company as there is My wife booked a flight for me from LGA New York to TYS Knoxville on April 18th. The flight was to take place on April 30. She thought she was booking on the American Airlines website and somehow ended up on ESKY.com. On April 22 her mother passed away and we needed to cancel travel plans including this flight. On Friday April 26 she called Esky to request cancellation and a refund due to bereavement and was told we needed to provide a death certificate. As we waited for the death certificate to be made available, she reached out to Esky everyday to let them know we were waiting for for it and would provide it as soon as we got it. On each call she asked for her assigned representative and was told he wasn't available. ( he said his name was "Herman" but could barely speak English). Today April 30 we were finally able to get the death certificate. We magically got through to "Herman" on the phone and he had us to both text and email a picture of it to him. In less than 20 minutes he texted back to say "I regret to inform you that your flight has already been cancelled". When I texted back to ask what exactly what that meant, of course there was no reply. Back on the phone to "Herman" and he said he didn't know who cancelled it and there would be no refund as it was and Economy Class ticket and as such was not refundable and my wife should have paid more attention to what she booked. He could have told her that on day one instead of telling her to provide a death certificate and then stringing her along while she was dealing with everything else that goes along with the death of a parent. I unashamedly admit I ranted at him for what he put my wife through until he hung up. We are now working with our credit card company to pursue a fraudulent charge case against ESKY

GBWaiting for a refund of funds that United Airlines sent to them, expecting them to forward the money to us. Here is the email that we have sent to American World WideTravel, which is, apparently, the parent of eSky: We have been trying, for some time, to resolve an issue with eSky regarding two United Airlines tickets that were booked thru eSky, and were subsequently cancelled. All of our efforts to work this out thru your call center have been unsuccessful. We are hopeful that this approach will work. To be clear, we are not seeking a refund of the fees that eSky charged us for making these reservations. We have never tried to dispute those charges. However, we understand that United Airlines has sent, to you, the funds that were to pay for the air fare, expecting you to refund them to us. These funds are owed to us, and we are asking you to send them to us, immediately. The details: The tickets were reserved for Tom E Bomer Ticket #01623584326965 Confirmation #J5WE42 Ticket #01623584518312 Confirmation #K2LXS4 The fee for the air travel, on each ticket, was $373.60. You owe us a refund of $747.20. We sincerely hope that this communication will lead to a resolution of this matter. If you need more information, we will be happy to help in any way possible. We await your response. Regards, Tom Bomer

GBDo not use this company Do not use this company! The worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Their whole operation is a scam to make you pay more money.

GBI used eSky to book a RyanAir ticket I used eSky to book a RyanAir ticket. Not only did they charge about £40 above RyanAir's own prices for the exact same journey (I checked within a few minutes), I received an email from RyanAir saying there was no commercial relationship between them and eSky, so the booking was blocked subject to my confirmation. This made me uneasy and I decided to cancel. But even though RyanAir have a 24-hr grace period, eSky refuse to give me a refund. AVOID.
