Pere Lachaise tour 17. July: This is a well organised tour which wound its way through the labyrinth of Pere Lachaise cemetery. It was very well directed by our tour guide, Becky, who spoke knowledgeably about each grave whilst allowing us time to linger and maybe to take photos. She was happy to answer questions. She made the experience most enjoyable!

Anais gave a wonderful skip-the-line… Anais gave a wonderful skip-the-line tour of the Louvre today to our group of 4 plus 7 others. She was knowledgeable, informative, and moved us along so we could see many of the important works in the Louvre. That Museum can be so overwhelming but we saw a lot in only 3 hours. She was also very attentive the different members of the group and worked hard to make sure we all stayed relatively together. Four thumbs up!

Bath, Windsor, and Stonehenge Our driver Barrington and guide Robert were fantastic. Barrington made the trip very smooth and went out of his way to make the tour comfortable. Robert's passion for history shines through in his descriptions of the people, places, and events surrounding the sites on our tour (Bath, Windsor, and Stonehenge). If I were to book again, I'd gladly take Barrington and Robert as driver and guide, but I'd only try to visit two of the sites in one day. Despite being a very long day, there isn't enough time to take in each location.

Be aware - This company is a fraud - Stay away Be aware. City Wonders is a fraudulent company. They scammed us. We booked Their Pompeii and Positano Tour, 1 month before arriving in Rome. We emailed them the first day when we booked that we are only taking this tour for Positano and wondering how much free time we would have there. They replied and said 2:30 hours of free time. This company took our money $588.00 for 2 adult and 2 children , took us to Pompeii and then on the way to Positano, 10 miles away, they turned back and said, because it was traffic earlier and we were behind schedule, they decided not to go to Positano, JUST LIKE THAT ! they turned back and said no worries, we will offer refund. After 30 emails back and forth , they said we can only offer 30% refund and asked us NOT to contact them anymore and instead reach out to Expedia for refund. When we talked to expedia, they informed us, City Wonders did not even autorized any refund. When Expedia reach out to them they did not even answer there phones. This company is a complete fraud. They are scammers and because they know you are traveling from other places, you can not legally challenge them, so they do whatever they want with no refund. To this day, we have not recieved any refund they offered ( which was not even fair ). They use Positano Name and pictures in their tour and then do not take people there. We checked other reviews and believe me, there are many other people who experienced the same thing with this company. They are total fraud. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOUR COMPANY.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. It was a rainy day in Milan. We left our hotel and the taxi service was having problems therefore we couldn’t call one. The first Uber canceled on us but a second arrived. We called the company the let them know that we would be 15 min late. The customer Service representative told us that all we had to miss 2/3 of the tour and that there was no way we could catch up with them at the exit of the Duomo. To make matters worse the representative told us to pay and book a separate tour of the Duomo directly with the Duomo website. As counseled by the City Wonders rep we went ahead and bought a separate Duomo tour with another company. Once we were finally able to join the tour for the viewing of the Last Supper (last part of the tour because they wouldn’t let us join in sooner), the tour guide approached us and handed us a ticket for the Duomo (after their representative had told us that we wouldn’t get one therefore after we had already purchased another ticket directly with the Duomo website. Terrible customer service!
