CA'WATCH OUT' Crooked business ROOMSTAYS.COM I recently phoned a number I got on line for Best Western but it must have been Roomstays. They did not mention the quote was in US dollars, nor did they mention there was an additional $11.17 booking charge which would be added. Hope to see this slimeball company put out of business, in the mean time AVOID THEM

CACLOSE A FRAUD I USED THIS COMPANY INADVERTENTLY AS I THOUGHT I WAS ON THE HOTEL SITE. BOOKED IT IN CANADA AT A CANADIAN HOTEL BUT WAS CHARGED IN US DOLLARS. PLUS WHEN I DID GO TO THE CORRECT SITE THE PRICE WAS LESS AND COMPLETELY REFUNDABLE.JUDGING BY THE FEEDBACK ON THE WEB THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN.TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CAUGHT LIKE ME.

GBBEWARE of "Room Stays.com" BE VERY CAREFUL when making a hotel reservations!!! When I went directly to what I thought was the hotel site today to make my reservation, I selected the first selection on Google which contained the hotel name first & then "Room Stays.com." Turns out Room Stays is a booking service. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that tag-on after the hotel name & have now been charged a non-refundable (of course) $9.95 to make a reservation that I didn't need "help" making! When I called & asked for a refund of the $9.95, I was told I should have read their "Terms & Conditions" & there is nothing they can do about it. I will attempt to dispute the charge on my credit card. Talk about an easy way to make $$$!!!

CARoomstays-Bad Experience I was booking rooms for a funeral; thought I was phoning customer service for the actual hotel but turns out it was Roomstays (which is not identified on hotel website nor when speaking with a service agent). Had to cancel the rooms due to illness and phoned hotel directly because I thought booking was direct. Hotel phoned me back to say I had booked with Expedia and had to call them directly which I did. Room charges were reversed however was hit with a $500 charge that Roomstays says I also booked on their website and didn't cancel so am responsible for. I did not do this booking, nor receive any confirmation other than the 2 rooms that I cancelled. Visa has reversed the charges, I have sent a letter to the hotel's customer service dept and will be filing a report with Consumer Services. Stay FAR AWAY from any dealings with this company. I recommend you phone the hotel directly as often as possible.

GBAn awful company not to be trusted Their paid google search result brought up the hotel that I THOUGHT was correct. But only after receiving the confirmation email did I realize it was in the wrong city. Actually, the wrong state. Even though I was willing to book the correct room through them, they refused to refund the full rate for the mistaken reservation. Basically, they would accept nothing less than charging for both rooms. NEVER use this site. Their "no refund ever" policy is simply unacceptable.
