No power - no credit for a different day We purchased tickets for the Mount Shasta ski park. The power is out at the resort and they don't know when power will be restored, meaning that the resort is currently closed. However, liftopia says the power may come on at some point during their operating hours today so we cannot transfer our booking to tomorrow. We are not even asking for a refund just to switch to a day when the resort is open with power. Very frustrating, I would not recommend making the purchase with liftopia.

Bad business. Buy direct! Bad business. Had a group of friends planning to take a trip to Colorado from the East coast. When Corona hit, we were able to get fully refunded for our VRBO and the tickets we bought directly from the resorts, but liftopia could only refund in "credits." That would be fine if the group of us lived nearby and could reuse them but at this point, we would have to plan a completely different trip in order to get our money out of it. Cannot recommend. Definitely try & buy tickets from the vendors instead.

What out for price gauging I went to the Canadian version at .ca and was redirected to .com. I assumed prices would be in CDN dollars and unfortunately it was not. I ended up paying the same price as the ski resort offers. I would have much rather directly supported the ski resort instead of using this site. The price in USD is only viewable at the end and it is not very prominent. Unless you have a keen eye and are paying attention to details you would not notice, especially since I used a Canadian web address to begin with.

Liftopia is AWESOME I read 65% of the reviews and it is all people who made mistakes and blamed their mistakes on liftopia it seems. Read what you are buying and follow the instructions. Liftopia saved me a ton of money ($250 saved on a 5 day trip) and was easier than purchasing tickets from Loveland!. I used them last year and am on the computer right now buying for this year, although they do not have Loveland yet it seems. I recommended them to everyone going on our trip this year.

Liftopia site linked to Big Sky Resort Somehow I managed to get on their website to buy lift tickets at the end of 2018 for a March trip to Big Sky MT. Our trip was canceled due to Covid and I could not get a refund. I just looked on their website and Big Sky is not on their list of tickets. Diana from Liftopia told me that "I could be creative in getting my credit used, by finding a friend of family member to use it" I didn't see the disclaimer until after I hung up that they can not be transfered to another person. Fingers are crossed I find a creative way to get my credit back. Lesson learned NEVER to use a crap site like this one.
