Down the Tubes I have been a National Geographic member/subscriber for over 50 years. I read my parents magazines for almost 20 years before that. I will be a member no longer. I can no longer tolerate the racist, sexist bent of this once vibrant magazine. The editor has brought her lack of scientific background and personal prejudices to bear on her work--where it has no place. Every issue is has become a far left opinion piece instead of fact-based story with broad interest. Too bad.

Inspiring Content, but hundreds of ads National Geographic Channel has been a source of awe-inspiring documentaries and educational content. It is my go-to channel to relax. The visuals are stunning, and the storytelling is both informative and engaging. However, the overall experience is marred by the excessive number of advertisements. The frequency and duration of ads interrupt the flow. Sometimes I even forget what I was watching 😀 I understand the importance of ads, but it would be good to balance how often you show them.

National Geographic violates the UN Charter National Geographic violates the UN Charter in its maps. It produces false content that appears to be an attempt to normalize illegal occupation and annexation. In this day and age, it is utterly unacceptable to abuse the influence of a once reputable establishment for spreading false maps. International borders cannot be changed by force, and humanity has proven this in the second world war at an astronomical cost of life loss. Yet, here we are again!

I took NGM for years I took NGM for years . It was so wonderful I could not throw a copy away .I stopped my subscription for several years and last year when I was asked what I wanted for Christmas I said “ NGM subscription . When I returned from Arizona I found three issues waiting . What a disappointment ! No trouble throwing issues away now . Who ever chose to change what was a ” world renown “ magazine ( probably to cut cost ) destroyed a “National Treasure “ ! How sad , thanks for allowing my constructive comment . They'll harass you forever Be careful about getting a NG membership and magazine. They will harass you forever. I tried to cancel my father's membership when his Alzheimers progressed to a point where he could no longer read. Every other subscription promptly cancelled and refunded. Not NG, I had to let the whole subscription run out. And meanwhile they sent demand after demand for renewal. I politely asked at least a dozen times over 4 years for them to leave us alone. Now my Dad is DEAD and they are still sending renewal notices. They are heartless monsters.
