GBI COULDNT GO TO MY GRANDFATHERS FUNERAL American Airlines is awful, and I will never fly with your horrible company again. We boarded the plane at 8:15, for an 8:21 AM departure. My grandfather’s funeral is the same day, at 2 PM. we sat on the runway for 40 minutes before the pilot tells us the breaks on the plane are broken, and we all had to deplane. My flight was delayed until 2:20 PM. not only that, but every other flight to my destination was delayed at least 3 hours. None were leaving before 2, and I asked to switch flights at around 10 AM. Yes I got a refund, but I missed putting my grandfather to rest, and I will never forgive this company for that. And by the way, i was flying from LAX to SFO. Literally an hour flight. So AMERICAN AIRLINES I HOPE U GO BANKRUPT.

GBAmerican Airlines Fail My husband and I had reservations to fly business class American Airlines from CZM to PDX on March 9, 2024. The flight was delayed enough that they told me to get a new flight which I did, but business class wasn’t available on the new flight. But we took it because we had to get home. On March 11, 2024, I submitted a complaint requesting compensation for flight downgrades, business to economy, for my husband and myself for our flight. I received a refund on March 12 of $154.61 for my husband and $192 for myself. I would like to know why the compensation is so low. If business class and economy were only less than $200 difference, I think more people would be opting for business class. I also submitted a complaint for extra baggage entitlement. We had to pay for our luggage when we got downgraded from business. We paid a total of $140 not counting fees. I did not receive payment for that, but $75 in credit for each of us that has to be used in a year. Credit for an airline that I don’t want to fly with anymore, doesn’t do me any good. And lastly, one of our bags was very damaged from CZM to DFW. We didn't have time to find an American baggage claim person in DFW as we had to recheck our bags and rush to our gate. When we arrived in PDX it was late and there were no American employees in baggage claim. I took pictures in DFW as well as when we got home. I tried to submit a claim online, but I can’t do that unless I have an incident number. I would have gotten one if there had been an AA employee in baggage claim. I have called twice and each time I was told to submit my complaints online. So frustrating. I feel like American Airlines failed and I will do whatever I can to not fly with them.

GBOnly giving them one star and I’m… Only giving them one star and I’m unable to choose non. Basically I booked a holiday for me and my partner and his father in the mean time become terminal il with cancer. So my partner didn’t want to go. I asked for a name change which they woudnt do for me expecting me to pay for another flight. I’ve asked for a refund as both flights were not used and I’m getting passed round from pillar to post I’m absolutely raging! Horrendous customer service I will never use this company again be warned before you book money hungry ass wipes

GBAbsolutely the worst experience I've… Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had flying. They delayed our flight 3 hours, had a board and deboard twice. Made us miss our connecting flight. Then rescheduled us a day later! We then canceled our flight and decided we would just drive the 6 hours home from Philly. Our bags never came through the carrousel, so we went to customer bag support. The lady was super rude and told us we had to wait because our bags were in holding for our rescheduled flight. We had cancled it before we even took off on our previous flight! Then we waited for over 2 hours for our bags. Absolutely horrible experience with horrible customer service from American Airlines. Will NEVER use them again.
