GBZero stars! Don’t use or BUY points because they will screw you over! When I called to try to get a later connection due to another flight change in the Bahamas, they told me no later flights were available and because I bought/used points to buy 3 tickets I could not transfer them! So I wasted $850 to buy points and then had to purchase 3 one way tickets for $2800 with the only later flight available with… you guessed it… American Airlines because they are dishonest

GBAs I was boarding… As I was boarding, American Airlines employee who was watching passengers get on the plane singled me out and asked me to close my extension on my carry on suitcase. Then proceeded to have me put my incredibly tiny fanny pack in my backpack. As I look around me and watch others board the plane after me there were TONS of people with more bags than me, multiple people who had their extensions open, and others with much larger carry on suitcases than me. Not to mention this employee was incredibly rude and condescending. If you are going to enforce something, enforce it to all, don’t single one person out. Will not be flying American Airlines again.

GBA Bright Spot in a Bad Situation It seems very rare in this day and age that positive customer service interactions occur, but Carmen and Bruce from AA went above and beyond for me related to a customer service issue with loan prodiver Affirm. Carmen went as far as getting on a three-way call with Affirm and me to resolve the issue (although Affirm just hung up on us), and Bruce, her supervisor, helped further with follow up calls and emails.

GBRefund no response The story is long but I will make it short. An employee of América Airline (Dayana in Miami )did not find my tickets on the computer even though I showed them on the phone. I had to pay again upon my return. They gave me credit because someone did find them. I decided to use my credit. (3,000.00) by the end of the year but my husband get sick, I ll contacted them and sent 18 pages of medical documents, hospitals, etc. They said they had never received them and they did not arrive back to the sender (since December 2023) to date, so I sent them by computer and I have not received a response either. For my part, where I can give you a bad recommendation I will do so, and this without saying that the service is terrible and they have no courtesy, the fly staff have a very unfriendly attitude, compared to other airlines the uniform is horrible and the planes are very dirty. As long as you can use other airlines. I pray never need Airline again.

GBWe had a flight to Rome Italy and our… We had a flight to Rome Italy and our flight was delayed and then cancelled till the next day slept on the floor on airport the denied any accommodation 25 hours later we flew to italy, coming back another nightmare we were cancelled again in Dallas and we were going home to Houston we decided to rent a car and drive home we didn’t use our tickets and have been trying to get credit for them but no luck. We will never fly thru American Airlines ever again customer service is the worst we waited 4 hours at customer service line for nothing
