Egypt air cannot be trusted to operate the flights you purchased, total unreliable. Egypt air unexpectedly cancelled our Rome Cairo flight and then rebooked us on an earlier flight that we could not make. Trying to get a full refund for their change has been impossible. No one answers their reservation numbers and they don’t return messages left on their answering machines. Ultimately we had to cancel on line and we are now fighting to get our trip refunded for a change they made. Apparently they feel that once you’ve booked their airline, when they provide the flight is independent of what you thought you purchased.

Before corona i was pleased to travel… Before corona i was pleased to travel with Egyptair. But recently 2022-2023 a lot has changed. Rude personnel, even bluntly denying me a blanket for my 3year old saying there are none until another passenger Just opened a cabin closet for me full of pillows and blankets. Being pregnant at the time i recieved 0 empathy, help, nothing from the staff! Especially since i was travelling alone with a 3y old. When they arrived at out seat the chicken was finished, only fish could be served. My 3 y old was so hungry and sad... unbelievable. Almost inhumane service, terrible. And many adults in front of us eating chicken. Dont they serve children first?? I asked 3 different staff for water and recieved 0, nada, nothing! I started to loose my patience and the man start to discuss about you asked me? Seriously! You present your colleagues as well, take responsibility!

Avoid this terrible airline I'm stuck in tokyo with no way of booking seats or check-in. because Egyptair decided to change my flights but not put it on my booking, and when you message them they tell you to email them 24hours before the flight to find out if you have a seat. I will never use this airline again.

Absolutely absurdly bad service Absolutely absurdly bad service. Bought tickets through their website, directly. Flights were moved and I was never informed. On my way to Tokyo, flight from Copenhagen to Cairo moved 1hr, and flight from Cairo to Tokyo cancelled. I was informed when I arrived at the airport. When checking for the way back, the flight from Tokyo to Cairo was moved 2 days forward, but the leg from Cairo to Copenhagen remained the same, which means I wouldn't make it. Are you kidding me? Trying to call their office on a Thursday, business day, 13:00, and no one picks up. 30min ringing already. Reservation number: OMDE72

If you land in cairo as a transit… If you land in cairo as a transit passenger then be prepared for rude obnoxious ground staff. Especially in security who talk to customers like peasants with contempt and in a condescending tone. No organisation its a complete shambles. They have 1 scanner and search customers causing them discomfort and also strip babies away from parents. Absolutely shocking kind of attitude and horrible nasty people. The flight itself was OK but the ground operations is pathetic .
