DKHope to never again have to fly with them…a bunch of entitled people doing whatever they want to poeple’s goods… Below is my complaint to them just o get a brief idea of what happened. They didn’t answer for a very long time, sent a bunch of reminders and called them various times. Then they transferred the case to Egypt Air Budapest which answered even slower. They did a poor evaluation of the damage and decided to refund me 92€ in the local currency of Hungary (forints). They asked me to fill out the same document and have witnesses sign it 4 times. They changed the currency and made many mistakes. I only got the money a week ago, so after 4 and a half months. Hope to never again have to fly with them! They treat customers bad, destroy their suitcases and don’t care afterwards, pay a lousy amount of money to fix a super expensive suitcase… “Dear Egypt Air, Without making this complaint too long, I’d like to mention that: My luggage hasn’t arrived on the 30.11.2023 in Sharm and it was delayed. I only recovered it after almost 24h, so I spent the day in the same clothes, with no toothbrush, no hairbrush and so on. My luggage arrived destroyed. Somebody broke the lock. This is a new Samsonite suitcase (700€ in value) which is now destroyed (both because of the lock, but also because of the scratches). I demand urgent compensation and solutions for both cases. Please treat this case as an urgent matter as I’m often traveling and I need my suitcase in perfect condition.”

GBIf you land in cairo as a transit… If you land in cairo as a transit passenger then be prepared for rude obnoxious ground staff. Especially in security who talk to customers like peasants with contempt and in a condescending tone. No organisation its a complete shambles. They have 1 scanner and search customers causing them discomfort and also strip babies away from parents. Absolutely shocking kind of attitude and horrible nasty people. The flight itself was OK but the ground operations is pathetic .

GBGB - JNB and return After reading the reviews, I was quite discouraged from using this airline despite knowing someone that had flown multiple times with no problems but booked for the rates anyway. Flights were on time, luggage arrived safely - we opted to wrap our luggage bags quite thoroughly to avoid any damage but all was well and we were happy with the overall experience. 1 short star for the meals, weren't the best but doable.

GBSharks! As they refuse to offer the promised refund I turned to my credt card company. What a bunch of sharks! They don't deserve 1-star, but we can't give them less. They finally agreed that we were entitled to a refund for being downgraded when an Economy-only aircraft was substituted for our scheduled aircraft with a Business Class cabin and gave me the e-mail address of the London office to claim it. The e-mail was ignored, the follow-up letter was ignored, the report to the laughably-named 'We Care' (they really, really don't, so this title is world-class hypocrisy) was ignored. Therefore I put in a Section 75 claim to my credit card company. They have now refunded the difference, 'unless Egyptair prove that I'm not entitled to it, or refund me themselves'. They can't do the first and seem determined not to do the second. But how are these dishonest bandits allowed to be members of Star Alliance, which consists of otherwise reputable airlines? Never again with Egyptair, never, never.

CYNever again traveled with Egyptian Air four times last week 1-. When you give your luggage, there is no respect for the priority of the business class. 2-when you were riding on the bus to the plane, they put us on an old, non-air-conditioned bus in high heat, with more than seventy people with us. We thought we were on a bus in India. Thirdly, the business class cafeteria in Cairo does not fit this name. Dirty and the service is very bad
