Jetstar Holidays is a scam Booked a Jetstar holiday package from Perth to Bali - our flight was cancelled due to technical issues (they’re fault) and they did nothing to recoup the costs or extend our trip to the package I originally booked. I spoke several times with different people at Jetstar holidays who basically had nothing to offer other than “we will try” to negotiate a refund for the first night from the hotel….uh ok, completely avoiding any questions about they’re policy in relation to flight cancellations for hotel/flight packages. When I did finally check in at the hotel I noticed the booking agent for our package was actually Expedia - so Jetstar has just sold the licence for these other travel groups to operate under their name. I don’t think I have actually spoken to one person from Jetstar in this whole week, including the staff at the Perth airport who said they worked for a third party called McKenzie’s and weren’t able to help me with any additional information or support. No one has called me back or emailed me to follow up on my calls or has provided an option that means I will actually get what I paid for. Do not book with them, absolute rip off company hiding behind third party providers so you have to spend hours trying to figure out what might be possible and they just don’t give a crap. Also, just had an update that our flight home has been cancelled….seriously.

2 hours delay - worst company More than 2 hours delay, we were obliged to pay a taxi because there was no public transportation that late. We asked for compensation but there was nothing to be done. The hostess anoncing the delay, the changing gates, etc only spoke japanese and didn't translate anything and was rude. Very very poor Japan service. Even in countries with bad service I have never seen that.

If I could give 0 stars If I could give 0 stars, I would. It is a terrible airline; the only thing on their mind is how to charge you more before you fly. They charged us AUD150 for a light carryon pram without providing any invoice afterward and threatened us, saying they would unload all luggage if we complained further. While you can't expect 5-star customer service from a budget airline, this is way too much to endure. The ground staff are very rude at Adelaide Airport, giving you the worst experience before a holiday. Never ever again!!

Made us pay $75 for our hand luggage… Made us pay $75 for our hand luggage being 1kg over. Ridiculous service that was also 2 hours delayed. Don’t fly with them, not worth it

Avoid this airline Our Perth to Brisbane 23:10 flight delayed till 00:40, gate changed TWICE! On boarding at 01:10 we were ejected due to downsized aircraft which we were told the lie "because it had no row 30!!". Ended up waiting 2 hrs at service desk long queue as a Sydney flight had been cancelled as well! Staff while polite had clearly been instructed to do everything possible in the interest of airline and not customers were unwilling and unhelpful. Our 4 day trip will now be only 3 (we won't meet up with all the people we needed to as a result) but we are still paying for 4 nights accommodation in Brisbane! It was a real struggle to get them to arrange a hotel which we were later told we had to check out from at 11:00 (we only got there at 03:00). Next flight is a full 24 hours later! Compensation, help and customer service is virtually absent and extremely poor! Update it’s now almost 24 hours later and we are waiting for our new flight which of course is delayed! It seems in Aus airlines are free from government regulation and so operate a rip off the customer policy and even have their own consortium to ensure that almost nobody will ever receive compensation!
