Praise for Jetstar Once again i had the most amazing flight JQ117 departing 8.55am Denpasar to Perth on 22 April 2024.The captain and first officer introduced themselves and Mark and his cabin crew were all amazing Mark when speaking to any passenger addressed us by our christian name he had a wonderful memory and absolutely nothing was any trouble I travel with oxygen and need a wheelchair and the crew made sure i was ok and ensured a wheelchair was available Having always flown Garuda i was very hesitant about flying with Jetstar i had read so many bad reviews but the 5 times (plus return) trips i have now done with them i have nothing but the highest praise and even if Garuda started flying from Perth again i wouldnt use them Jetstar have won me over

After 8pm and they’ve cancelled my sister’s flight so late and she’s very disabled! My sister is very disabled. Jetstar have just cancelled her flight from Melbourne to Sydney when she was already at the departure gate. It’s after 8pm, very late but most importantly, my sister uses a walker and can hardly walk. Jetstar better look after her or I’m contacting a current affair.

Jestar...the joke is on you If you have any requirement to get to anywhere on time DO NOT book with jetstar. 12pl flight miraculously delayed for 3hrs & 15minutes, announced 30 minutes before boarding. They did not update the flight details so no one knew what was going on. Then they rush to board us at 1445 only to tell us we have to sit airside for another 2hrs! They lie, blame engineering issues & offer no compensation to travelers. Nothing but a bunch of thief mongering thugs. Sorrowful excuse of an airline. Go elsewhere if you can. Only flight delayed in all of Adelaide airport. Good one

Jetstar Holidays is a scam Booked a Jetstar holiday package from Perth to Bali - our flight was cancelled due to technical issues (they’re fault) and they did nothing to recoup the costs or extend our trip to the package I originally booked. I spoke several times with different people at Jetstar holidays who basically had nothing to offer other than “we will try” to negotiate a refund for the first night from the hotel….uh ok, completely avoiding any questions about they’re policy in relation to flight cancellations for hotel/flight packages. When I did finally check in at the hotel I noticed the booking agent for our package was actually Expedia - so Jetstar has just sold the licence for these other travel groups to operate under their name. I don’t think I have actually spoken to one person from Jetstar in this whole week, including the staff at the Perth airport who said they worked for a third party called McKenzie’s and weren’t able to help me with any additional information or support. No one has called me back or emailed me to follow up on my calls or has provided an option that means I will actually get what I paid for. Do not book with them, absolute rip off company hiding behind third party providers so you have to spend hours trying to figure out what might be possible and they just don’t give a crap. Also, just had an update that our flight home has been cancelled….seriously.
