A real person sorted it out! Great recent experience sorting out a billing issue. Thanks to - 'Charlotte OB11' - for the help Stopped receiving bills for two months for some reason. But it was all sorted out about half an hour after I called up. Have found Octopus' customer service very good so far. You call up and speak to a real person who can sort things out. Came over from Bulb Energy.

Confirming my energy rate I wanted to confirm that my thermostat was registered and that my rate would be the intelligent octopus rate. It was taken care in less than 5 minutes.

Problem solved with excellent and speedy service I had a problem with payment methods and called, they answered within a minute and I was able to talk to a real human being, Eric. He was very professional and got my issue sorted in just a few minutes. Dealing with bills sucks already, this being easy made it a lot less painful <3

Excellent customer serivice! Their phone system seems to lend to an easy way to talk to someone. Talked to Mellisa Campbell, and she helped walk me through options, and informative without sounding cookie cutter or scripted. Even though the call was short, I was not rushed, and that we had all the time in the world for me to get it “right”, even if octopus wasn’t the right company for me. (Spoiler, how can I NOT switch) Recap: Excellent customer service. Super easy sign up (did it online)

My Home Burned, and Octopus Stepped Up To Make Sure I Was Okay. I haven’t had a bad experience with Octopus since I started using them. Every phone call, email, and chat has been very positive. I am writing this review because my home burned down, and Octopus has been nothing but kind and helpful. They weren’t worried at all about the loss of revenue, and wanted to make sure I was okay and safe. I am so grateful. Lizzeth communicated with me through email after my call to make sure that I was okay, and that they had sent me an incredibly generous gift card to pay for groceries. I am beyond grateful. They have a loyal customer in me for when I do have a home again.
