Disappointed time & time again Vivint Solar has disappointed us time and time again. If there was a way to get out of the loan for it, we would discontinue service ASAP. First, the install was not done properly and they are arguing that it's our problem to fix. Their tech nailed something into our wiring which is causing a fire hazard that they won't fix. They're saying we have to prove it. This will require ripping out the ceiling. The lights were working perfectly before the install and went out after solar was installed. It took MONTHS to even get someone to respond to us after we escalated the case. Still, no help, no resolution. We have also been paying $125 per month and the offset has been only $48 on average. We're basically paying MORE for the solar rather than realizing any savings. There is no way to see what your monthly offset is in billing either, which requires extra work to call and ask what was generated. It's a total racket....at least in our experience.

How bad customer service..! How bad customer service, Never respond if you want any reschedule... How people gave 5 star?? Its crazy...last 4 weeks i am trying to reach these people to resolve my issue... Long wait and hold after disconnects,.. Hope you will respond soon.. How about more than a 4 hour hold and its last 2 weeks...! No surprise!!! After days reply no calls yet.. Simply responding and never got a call back..! A week ago replied but never got any calls nor fixed my issue, useless customer service. After long fight they came and fixed the issue, but they damaged my new roof and gutters.

Adding myself to the list of very… Adding myself to the list of very unfortunate souls who bought into the con man/salesman presentation. “Bill will go down. You were accepted for free solar because of your high energy bills. We’re going to put enough panels on to bring your bill as close to $0 as possible.” Surprise! Bill has gone up. Paying more Vivint than SoCalEdison without their panels. Being out of work because of COVID-19 for a year is capped off by being scammed by Vivint. There is certainly a special place in Hell for them. Stay away folks.

Solar panels installed thru vivint… Solar panels installed thru vivint solar. They sold me a dream!! Go solar and no electricity bills! 30% tax rebate!! Cmon!! They had solar installed thru 3rd party. Solar panels been a joke.. high electricity bills still!! Never seen any savings at all! I call Vivint to complain, but they dont have account for me?! They just brokered a 106k deal, took the $ and ran!! Stuck with solar loan and electricity bill. Stuck dealing with lame installers and the goodleap financing.. they need to come get this garbage off my house. Breach of contract somewhere in there. CONSUMER FRAUD!! I signed up with vivint solar, not some sorry solar installation company! Wierd how they would get me $106k loan without having a job!!

Unacceptable maintenance and service It has been 3 weeks that we have been trying to get our issue resolved with Vivint Solar. We have multiple leaks in our roof and need our system removed in order to get our roof replaced. It has been nothing but being on hold for hours and told they would call back which never happens. We have been given the run around and they have refused to give us a supervisor to speak with. They keep blaming covid-19 but they are essential workers and they are the only solar company that fir-load their employees. We have had third party companies offer to remove the panels but Vivint will not pay them for the work. Bottom line, they loose money removing and reinstalling the panels while our house gets damaged. This is unacceptable and a breach of contract! If you read other reviews this was an issue before covid-19 with Vivint Solar.
