The first women who helped me was… The first women who helped me was difficult to understand and didn't seem to have a good working knowledge of the product. By my third call I connected with someone who understood the product and escalated when necessary. Bottom line we are still not sure why I lost my side scan icon on the home page.

Simrad cruise 7 arrived 2 days after I… Simrad cruise 7 arrived 2 days after I placed the order. Well boxed and in good condition. Nice simple unit, easy install. Bright screen and user friendly controls. No nmea or radar inputs but why have those options if you’re not going to use them, which the majority of recreational boaters won’t. GPS works well and the pre loaded c maps offer decent charts and shows the depth as well. Hard to beat the price too.

Good customer service TP22 Tillerpilot. This item let us down half way between Azores and France (it probably took in some water) causing some frustration. This frustration disappeared when the Simrad team inspected the item and replaced without fuss.

The NS EVO2.. The NS EVO2... Do you know Simrad wilfully and knowingly continued to sell these units well after they started receiving complaints about the touch screen? No, neither did we until the fault appeared after the warranty period expired. Their offer when we did a 'please explain' was a " remanufactured" unit (2nd hand rebuilt) with no warranty and half price. Found proof that they knew the screens fail at leased a year before we bought ours. How can you trust an organisation that considers that acceptable business practice? The transducer also has started to deliminate! Doesnt end there. The IS20 anemometer display could never be calibrated with the EVO2. Wind direction always off. Simrad? NEVER AGAIN.
