By my third call I connected with someone who understood the product and escalated when necessary. Bottom line we are still not sure why I lost my side scan icon on the home page.

I purchased a Simrad Cruise 9 I purchased a Simrad Cruise 9. It would be nice if the sun cover was includedq and not an accessory, also a little disappointed that my lake is not included in the maps. I understand that it came with USCoastal maps but i am on the west coast of Florida. All the other less expensive units ive owned have had both. On the upside I do like the unit over all and the order was processed and shipped very quickly even with standard shipping.

Bright screen and user friendly controls. No nmea or radar inputs but why have those options if you’re not going to use them, which the majority of recreational boaters won’t. GPS works well and the pre loaded c maps offer decent charts and shows the depth as well. Hard to beat the price too.
