As far as transmission and total car care with all of my vehicles Thanks Kevin you're the man.

I had taken my truck to Cottman… I had taken my truck to Cottman suspecting that a vibration I was feeling was a transmission problem. They found that actually my driveshaft was very loose and repaired it accordingly. A second problem was my "check engine" light, which had been coming on intermittently for months. Other shops had failed to find the problem but Cottman diagnosed a faulty EGR valve. I replaced that myself and have had no further check engine light illuminations. I was completely impressed with the competence and friendliness of Cottman and will happily refer others.

Honest and Upfront Towed my vehicle in with what I thought was a transmission problem, which turned out to be an electrical systems failure. They told me they could do the work but admitted it might be cheaper to go somewhere else, because the only way to find the problem was to bill me at their hourly rate as they went through and checked each part of the system until they found it. They charged me only the cost of the initial tests, even though I left my car on their lot for a couple extra days while I figured out where to get it towed next.

I highly recommend Cottsman to anyone… I highly recommend Cottsman to anyone experiencing transmission issues. Kevin was quick to help and had a solution to the issue shortly after dropping off my 2006 Acura TL which was no longer shifting at 180k miles. Only a couple days to rebuild what was bad and I was back on the road. The car never felt better. He kept in constant contact me with throughout the process and even after I drove it home. I know they are a place I can trust and would recommend them to anyone I know that needs their transmission serviced or repaired.

Transmission required some major… Transmission required some major repairs. They performed the necessary repairs in a timely manner. Afterwards, we experienced a few problems. Cottman stayed with me on these, and treated me with respect and intelligence. They resolved these issues quickly and politely. In my mind, they went out of their way to ensure proper operation of my transmission. I would highly recommend this location, and I again thank Kevin for his dedication to standing behind his services. Honesty and professionalism come at a premium nowadays.
