USBest Transportation Company in America I contracted with American-Canada Transportation Group, LLC (AYTP4OU) to transport a travel trailer from Spokane Washington to Pennsylvania. Ed was quick to contact me to confirm pickup and delivery. Ed was at the dealer waiting for them to open. He confirmed the travel trailer was picked up and on its way. He also provided a google map to follow his travels to Pa. Ed contacted me and provided a ETA of when he would arrive and arrived early. He put the travel trailer in my back yard where I wanted. I was lucky to get Ed and American Transportation Group, LLC to deliver my travel trailer. Ed was very provisional, did an excellent job transporting my travel trailer and was a pleasure to talk and work with. I highly recommend Ed and his company. As for uShip I don't feel they were transparent with the total cost of shipping. The shippers provide bids, but uShip I didn't indicate anything about adding any addition fees or a veterans discounts. After I accepted the bid uShip added a $150.00 service charge and a $437.36 additional fee which they listed on my invoice as a Washington State tax which it wasn't. Being a Pennsylvanian I don't have to pay Washington state tax. After I booked the transpiration I read they give a veterans discount, but didn't see it listed anywhere. But I am glad I was referred to uShip

USHit or Miss When you place a shipment for tender on UShip, it's a real coin toss as to the offers you'll get. UShip don't seem to vet the shippers very well (if at all), before allowing them to bid for your shipment. In my experience, you can get anything from a professional transport company to a guy with a pickup truck and a cell phone bidding for your shipment, and it's not always easy to tell one from the other. The shipper I chose, came in with the lowest bid (by far), had mostly good reviews and assured me he could pickup and deliver my new motorcycle within the timeframe I had specified. Once he had secured my business, I wrote three separate emails to him, none of which were answered. When I eventually managed to contact him by phone, he said he was backed-up and wouldn't be able to pick up my shipment "for about a week and a half" (I'd already been waiting 10 days and was at the end of my requested pickup window). I told him this wasn't acceptable, wasn't what he promised, and cancelled on UShip. He came back with some excuses, but I cancelled anyway. UShip processed my cancellation and refunded my money 7 days later. Also, there is no telephone support, which is not reassuring. When you call the UShip support number it tells you to email or text them. They did get back to me within a few hours of having emailed and texted them though. I can't really fault UShip themselves, as, in my case at least, they did what they said they would, *however* the reliability and professionalism of the shippers seems very variable, so the whole concept is flawed in my opinion. Especially as UShip don't seem to want to get involved if things go awry. In the end, I'm now paying more than double to have a well known, professional motorcycle transport company move my motorcycle, which is what I should've done in the first place. Many people have had success with UShip, but there are many cancellations and horror stories too, so...

USWas able to find a good carrier. Was able to find a good carrier. One problem I have noticed is that notifications are not coming to my email, although that option is turned on in uship account.
