Hit or Miss When you place a shipment for tender on UShip, it's a real coin toss as to the offers you'll get. UShip don't seem to vet the shippers very well (if at all), before allowing them to bid for your shipment. In my experience, you can get anything from a professional transport company to a guy with a pickup truck and a cell phone bidding for your shipment, and it's not always easy to tell one from the other. The shipper I chose, came in with the lowest bid (by far), had mostly good reviews and assured me he could pickup and deliver my new motorcycle within the timeframe I had specified. Once he had secured my business, I wrote three separate emails to him, none of which were answered. When I eventually managed to contact him by phone, he said he was backed-up and wouldn't be able to pick up my shipment "for about a week and a half" (I'd already been waiting 10 days and was at the end of my requested pickup window). I told him this wasn't acceptable, wasn't what he promised, and cancelled on UShip. He came back with some excuses, but I cancelled anyway. UShip processed my cancellation and refunded my money 7 days later. Also, there is no telephone support, which is not reassuring. When you call the UShip support number it tells you to email or text them. They did get back to me within a few hours of having emailed and texted them though. I can't really fault UShip themselves, as, in my case at least, they did what they said they would, *however* the reliability and professionalism of the shippers seems very variable, so the whole concept is flawed in my opinion. Especially as UShip don't seem to want to get involved if things go awry. In the end, I'm now paying more than double to have a well known, professional motorcycle transport company move my motorcycle, which is what I should've done in the first place. Many people have had success with UShip, but there are many cancellations and horror stories too, so...

Hands down the cheapest … Hands down the cheapest compared to all The other competitors. Delivery quicker than expected. Direct phone/text contact with shipper. I shipped a wheelchair. When it was delivered he even wiped it down at drop off to make sure it looked good at delivery and sent me pics. Fabulous service! Will use again. Thank you!

I used Uship to find a transport for my… I used Uship to find a transport for my motorcycle. They sent me a company named Ultimate 123. Ultimate doesn't have any cargo insurance. They put a driver on my transport who dropped my motorcycle off the trailer and decided to try and fix the motorcycle himself with tape bondo and spray paint. There was significant damage to the motorcycle and to top it off Ultimate 123 will not cover the damages because they do not carry cargo insurance. I had to hire an attorney to collect payment for the damages.

Personal car ship, VA to CO. I've shipped personal cars previously and the UShip platform works well. Ultimately shipping is a per mile, logistical business. Have patience as it's not an exact science so the pickup and delivery is never exact. May be few days earlier or later than you expect. The hauler was super nice and the pickup/delivery was perfect using an open rig. Thanks again and I'll need a return quote in 6 months! :)
