Honestly I don’t have many options for brands for my truck, I installed 4 bilstein shocks, about $700, plus labor cost of about $300. 2 fronts gave out within 6 months. I contacted customer service, I ended up paying nearly $400 to replace the 2. Again about $300 for labor, I tried returning the old ones so I can get my money back, they just don’t make it easy, going back and forth with these incompetent people. I had to pay yet another time for 2 shocks I did not request $20 this time?!! I simply requested a refund of the original 2 that were defective due to seal failure. I’m still dealing with shocksurplus . I’ve been dealing with a lot of personal issues and these people love playing dumb with my refund. How are you even in business still?! I’m absolutely 100% dissatisfied and disappointed with your customer service. I will never shop with you again and will continue to belittle your company

The guys at SS know their stuff The guys at SS know their stuff, I replaced my 5th gen 4runner XREAS with pre-loaded Bilstein 5100s recommended by the guys at SS. I couldn’t be more satisfied. It rides the best it’s ridden since we bought it. I installed myself in under 3 hrs. Great customer support and service. Btw this was on wife’s car, and she was super impressed, happy wife bonus!!! Very poor customer service I'm very disappointed with Shock Surplus's lack of customer service. I emailed and called multiple times to find out the status of my order, and no one has responded. They were accommodating during the purchase process, but it was a horrible experience after the sale.

Bilstein Loaded Struts 6112 and 5100 Shocks Ordered both Bilstein Front 6112 Struts already assembled and rear 5100 Shocks for my 2018 GMC 1500, this vendor delivered in a very timely manner at a compedative price. Had struts and shocks on order previously with another vendor for a year and had cancelled. When bilstein finally made them again, these guys got them to me quickly and stayed in contact with me til I had them in my hands. Great customer service in my opinion. I would highly recommend them.

Ordered Bilstein 6112/5160 and SPC… Ordered Bilstein 6112/5160 and SPC UCA's. Everything came as a separate shipment but arrived within 7 business days. Had a couple questions through the process and they were incredibly helpful in providing tracking info as well as recommendations for my Gen5 4R. Great pricing. Great experience!
