I wanted to say that I’ve had the Compustar alarm and remote start installed for a few weeks now and I couldn’t be any happier with the product or the superb service I received from the Car Toys team in Park Meadows, Colorado. Compustar hit a home run with the PRO R5 remote. One button keeps it super simple and reliable. The thing I am most impressed with is the ability to customize or update over time because the alarm system is completely modular. Two calls, both great service!! I've called twice and received quick and great service. Really like these folks. Best customer service experience ever. And a particular applause for technical people being generous and patient... it's a rare thing.

Doesn't work as expected Well, the unlock feature when you approach your vehicle is hit or miss. I thought it was because my key fob needed a charge, so I charged it and the problem still happened. Super disappointed that such an expensive system doesn't work reliably. Makes me question my entire purchase as well as the work integrity from Car Toys.

Works with 2022 Toyota Prius (Plugin) Prime Experience so far is only with ambient temperatures below freezing. ICE starts on remote start activation, front defrost comes on and if interior of cabin is cold enough, rear window defrost also comes on. (As expected, remote will not work if charge cable connected since a Toyota safety feature.) Range as advertised.

Very good overall with one flaw Great range, ease of use, reliability and functionality. Only complaint is durability of remote. The plastic at the bottom breaks too easily meaning you can no longer keep it on your keychain, which obviously isn’t ideal. Please reinforce with metal or make the bottom clip part more durable.
