GBBUYER BEWARE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I took my car to Auto Glass Now to replace the windshield on 2-19-24. Shortly after I arrived at my 12 PM appointment, as I was sitting in the waiting room, I overheard the technician come in and ask the manager if she had ordered the necessary trim/gasket pieces. As it turned out, she had not, so the tech showed me some alternate trim material that he thought would work. I was reluctant but agreed. He later told me that another trim piece was needed at the base of the windshield by the cowling that he did not have. At that point, I became very concerned and frustrated and asked him to please just put everything back together so I could take my car somewhere else. Fortunately, he had not yet removed the existing windshield. But as he was putting it back together, I noticed that the “rain gutter trim piece” that overlaps the top windshield gasket on the driver’s side was damaged and would not lay down or snap back into place properly. Also, the plastic cowling at the base of the windshield did not go back in or lay down properly. The technician suggested that it was okay to leave it like that since I was taking it somewhere else anyway and they could put it back together correctly. Not a very good answer in my opinion. The store manager said she would contact the "Regional Manager" to discuss the damage. At that point, I asked for the regional manager’s name and phone number. She said she always uses email to communicate with him, so I asked for the regional manager’s name and email address. She refused to give it to me. That should tell you something. I had the windshield replaced the next day by Affordable Auto Glass (highly recommended). They did an excellent job. During that process, they discovered that Auto Glass Now had also damaged the pillar covers and broken the retainer clips. Also, he said the cowling along the hood below the windshield wipers still will not lay down correctly because the trim piece at the base of the windshield was also broken. After a bit of research on my own, I was able to contact the regional manager for Auto Glass Now. I provided him repair quotes for the damage Auto Glass Now had done to my car. He said he would process the paperwork and that would take a couple of weeks for the reimbursement to go through. Weeks passed with no response. Finally, after 2 months, I was able to reach the regional manager again. He said the reimbursement had not been processed and that Auto Glass Now wanted to make the repairs themselves. Initially, I objected, based on the poor quality of work I had already experienced. Later in the conversation, I reluctantly agreed. He said he would send his best technician to my house to make the repairs and that he would call back to confirm the details. Shortly thereafter, he called back and reneged on his offer. He said he would send the repair parts to me, but he had changed his mind on actually performing the repairs. He said I would need to take it somewhere and I would be responsible for the labor to make the repairs. Again, another bad answer from Auto Glass Now. This is highly unusual for me to write a review! But based on the extremely poor experience I had with Auto Glass Now, I felt an obligation to warn others about their shoddy workmanship and terrible customer service. Spare yourself the agony and inconvenience and avoid doing business Auto Glass Now like the plague!

GBIt pays to shop around. If one regularly drives New Mexico roads, you will likely need to replace your windshield as I did. I received a $500+ quote from Safelite. UGH! Shopping around I found Auto Glass Now on Indian School Road in Albuquerque. I filled out the online form and the next day received a quote of $165 to replace my Ford Escape windshield. Great savings even after the round trip from Santa Fe. I made an appointment, arrived on time and was immediately given a friendly welcome. Completed the paperwork and 80 minutes later the replacement was done. Good place, good staff. Will use again if necessary.

GBThe windshield replacement process… The windshield replacement process started out great. Phone calls were made and returned were polite and professional. There were promises made to deliver exceptional service with the windshield install for a luxury german made vehicle and using original equipment made parts. A senior tech was assigned, but install was rushed unnecessarily and the result was disappointing. (Hindsight) I should have elected to pay more and have the Bmw dealership do the install and/or go with a different installer svc. that fully warrants the work done. But, I plan to follow-up with Auto Glass Now and get better solutions than what have been already presented. So far, it has been a lack of accountability from the installer and with the company. The issues should have been acknowledged and/or addressed by now considering that the install took place 2/16/24. But, I am going to be diligent and patient with the process. I believe in being reasonable and fair with these types of transactions. (+/- $1k investment) I look forward to updating this review if, matters are resolved.

GBRude My wife got a small chip in her windshield so I took her vehicle in after finding the web page for this business. When I arrived at the front counter, the woman sitting at a desk literally gave me a look like I did not belong in her shop and asked what do I want in a rude tone. I explained why I came in and before I could finish. She said can’t help today and it would cost 120 dollars minimum. She made no attempt to make a sale in any way. Made it clear that I for whatever reason was not wanted in her establishment with her tone, glare and dismissive attitude. Complete opposite of what they are advertising. Easy enough to spend my money elsewhere.
