GBQuick, easy, affordable. Quick, easy, affordable. Shuttle from airport to car rental area was easy to find and ran often. Line was long-ish at rental desk, but went by quick, several agents were working. Vehicle was new and looked clean. Return was easy, drop and go. Overall very satisfied.

MY CREDIT CARD WAS OVER CHARGED BY $464.91 I have made several attempts to resolve the issue via communications on their customer service website and over the phone. The most recent attempt to speak to a person form your company over the phone ended in your employees disconnecting the call; most recently on April 1. This has been the typical treatment for most phone calls in which I was able to connect to another person. I experience long hold time and after explaining the situation they hang up. Car rented thru Expedia. Dollar did not give credit for $204 payment and then charged me $260.91 for 9 days car rental for a vehicle that was in their possession on their parking lot. I HAVE BEEN OVER CHARGED BY $464.91

GBThey protect themselves with unavailable customer service. Rep at counter went down the list verbally of insurance add-ons etc, and I stated 'No' to each one. He then said, 'Ok, just sign on the screen', which I did. However, the invoice I got stated I had opted in for extra insurance and other items. On a $640 rental which already included taxes, my bill was over $1120. Upon dispute, they have no 800 number available, Email only-- which they answer in about 2 days, per question. I was given the most generic "you signed the agreement" responses after multiple attempts. My only recourse was to file a claim with the credit card company which, after investigation, they granted the full disputed amount. Never, ever again.

GBWARNING Extra insurance added without consent Rented a car from Orlado airport, prepaid for car via holiday autos. Arrived at the Dollar desk after a nine hour flight, an hour wait at customs an 2 hour wait at the Dollar desk. Added an additional driver and was talked into paying €85 for fuel so I didn’t have to bring back the car with a full tank.. when the additional driver was driving I looked at the rental slip an noticed that extra insurance had been added for glass/tyre protection and accident cover which came to €145. Taking time out of my holiday I went back to the airport to dispute this,but was met with you signed for it by Jose the not so customer focused manager. I have made a complaint via email as you cannot speak to anyone. After 8 days received an email basically saying tough you signed it. I have replied to the email and now waiting a response. Do not use Dollar. To make matters worse i didn’t get the car I ordered I had a lower class car.
