STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. I booked a car for 27/12/19 MCO. with free cancellation to 48 pre hire date. Cancelled 72 hours pre hire through medical emergency, NO REFUND AS OF 29 DAYS. All telephone numbers for multiple countries are un answered, no person to contact for refund, Please take my word, and pay a little more to use a direct company or a reputable car hire company. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! I recently rented through this company while visiting Ireland. The invoice I received said that all basic insurance etc was included and nothing extra would have to be paid on arrival. When I arrived the people at Avis said that this was not the case and was forced to pay an extra €240 for the basic insurance. I contacted them to try and resolve this, they only have an email portal on their site to contact them with. I received an email back a week later asking what the issue was, I explained, then they said they would check with their Avis representative about this. I haven't heard back from them since. I have been in touch with Avis about this and, thankfully, they have been a bit more helpful, but they are still unable to refund me even though they said the mistake lies with compareautorentals.com. Save yourself a lot of hassle and avoid booking with them.

Excellent website great rates My husband and I were flying into Dublin and wanted to be able to explore the countryside. We checked out the compareautorentals.com website and found the information we needed displayed in an easy to read format and comparing the different rental options. I was so impressed I decided to book our hotel through them as well. It took less than a few minutes. Next trip I will do the same.

Fantastic customer service and easy… Fantastic customer service and easy website. I booked my car rental after looking at the different listings the website provided for my trip to London. I got a really low rate and then needed to confirm insurance requirements. I contacted them and they answered all my questions and pointed out the confirmation email had information I needed as well. I will use them again.
