Booked a car through these scammers Booked a car through these scammers. Because of Coronavirus I was unable to travel to Florida so did not need the vehicle. The car was booked with AdVantage Car Rental. Contacted them and explained the situation and they confirmed that I could cancel without any penalty, but would have to reclaim my money from Compareautorental.com. I spent 2 weeks trying to contact them via telephone/email/Facebook messenger to no avail. Stay clear, you have been warned.

Excellent customer service Excellent website, great personalized customer service. I was planning a trip to Ireland with my family and I really needed to talk to someone about the details of renting a car in a foreign country. CompareAutoRentals.com was the only car rental website I found that actually had a listed phone number. One phone and I got all my questions answered right away and booked the rental car at the same time.

So fast and easy! I normally had my travel agent book everything. She retired and I thought it would be difficult but with Compareautorentals.com I took less than 5 minutes to put my information, make my choice and get an email confirming my rental. Oh and I booked my hotel too! I am so happy I used them, travelling will continue to be great now that I can book this easy!

I have used this site 2 times now… I have used this site 2 times now without any issues. I like the fact I can compare all the car rental companies from one site. I will keep using the site and would recommend to others. Tip: it’s about half the price if you purchase the insurance online at the time of booking vs buying insurance when picking up car. Amy

Avoid!!! We made a reservation and decided to cancel a few days later. After multiple phone calls and emails, we still have not heard back from them regarding our cancellation, even though it clearly states on their website that cancellation is free. The call centre has no escalation process and no contacts for anyone in head office. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication and accountability.
