AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! I recently rented through this company while visiting Ireland. The invoice I received said that all basic insurance etc was included and nothing extra would have to be paid on arrival. When I arrived the people at Avis said that this was not the case and was forced to pay an extra €240 for the basic insurance. I contacted them to try and resolve this, they only have an email portal on their site to contact them with. I received an email back a week later asking what the issue was, I explained, then they said they would check with their Avis representative about this. I haven't heard back from them since. I have been in touch with Avis about this and, thankfully, they have been a bit more helpful, but they are still unable to refund me even though they said the mistake lies with compareautorentals.com. Save yourself a lot of hassle and avoid booking with them.

So fast and easy! I normally had my travel agent book everything. She retired and I thought it would be difficult but with Compareautorentals.com I took less than 5 minutes to put my information, make my choice and get an email confirming my rental. Oh and I booked my hotel too! I am so happy I used them, travelling will continue to be great now that I can book this easy!

I have used this site 3 times now I have used this site 3 times now. I would recommend using CompareAutoRentals.com to anyone. I usually do a lot of shopping around to get the best prices, CompareAutoRentals has always had lower prices then i could find anywhere else.

Hmmm. Hmmm. Recent reviews suggest that earlier ones may be fake. Just look at the pattern. Best advice is to avoid this company. Uncontactable; no response to emails or telephone calls. Specifically, they advertised car was for pick up at Schiphol Airport, not at remote site requiring shuttle bus transfer. I chose it because it was on airport, so finding myself waiting for a bus (30 mins) then 15 mins transfer, was entirely what I did not want or purchase. The actual car rental company were good. This online broker , on the other hand, is not. Lesson learnt: use a reputable broker or go direct to the car rental desk in the airport.

BE WARNED!!!!! BE WARNED!!!!! Don't book with this website or company. They claim that you can do full refund if you cancel 72 hours prior to travel. I tried contacting them 2 months ahead, emailed around 10 times within the span of 2 months, tried calling all the numbers on the website and "not listed/not in use". Money down the drain... a bunch of crooks!!!! Karma will get what you deserve.
