GBConsigned my 1983 Mustang GLX… Consigned my 1983 Mustang GLX convertible to the Dearborn location of Gateway. Long story short, they called me and said they couldn't get the car started. They ran it out of gas, and TORE UP THE REAR AXLE, that I HAD TO PAY TO GET FIXED (read the contract VERY CAREFULLY) to the tune of $1035! THEY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR VEHICLE, and my attorney told me I HAD NO RECOURSE WHATSOEVER. They screwed me on the final amount, padded the price to boost their take and F@CKED UP MY CAR with their car jockeys PULLING DONUTS IN THE PARKING LOT, so BEWARE, THEY WILL SCREW UP YOUR CAR, TOO, and YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT ALL. If you go with Gateway, YOU WILL REGRET IT. I wouldn't let these horses' asses sell a Radio Flyer wagon!!

GBHorrible & Expensive experience. Buyer Beware! Purchased a 1978 Ford Bronco from Gateway. Absolutely horrible experience. The truck was not as described. Upon delivery before the Bronco was even off loaded, I called the dealer for a refund. Of course it was “non-negotiable” and as is. Beware of this dealer. They flat out lied to me. It cost me another $21,000 to fix the misrepresented features, dents, scratches and undriveable vehicle. Look elsewhere. Have a mechanic look at car and definitely take for a drive. Don’t take a word from them as reliable.

GBConfusing, misinformed, poor Here are a few words that describe my experience. (confusing, misinformed, poor) 1. Promised me things that never happened. 2. Never fully explained the process to me. 3. Salesmen turnover rate was high so I had to work with several different people who didn't have any idea what was going on with my vehicle. 4. Felt pressured to except an offer below my asking price. Not sure I'd use them again.

GBGateway engages in illegal title jumping After paying $57000 for a classic car with Gateway Classic Cars, they first lied to me about the time required to receive the wire transfer. Then they scratched the car severely during final prep. Next, they delayed the title transfer more than 3 weeks. I found out through research that this tactic is called "title jumping" wherein they tell the seller that the funds have not been received, and they make several hundred dollars on the interest float. They put off the buyer with lies and deception while they rake in the interest. This company has numerous "shell" LLC's listed as follows: CVP HOLDINGS, LLC a foreign limited liability company. Normally, when a company is owned by one of these shell corporations, they are committing tax fraud and avoiding taxes in each state where they operate. A search of CVP HOLDINGS revealed that they received a Coronavirus-related PPP loan from the SBA of $1,380,798.00 in April, 2020. That is YOUR tax money, folks...going to support this foreign owned business. Coming up on 4 weeks post sale, and these criminals have still not initiated the title transfer. BUYER BEWARE- GATEWAY CLASSIC CARS is a shill company.

GBAs a seller As a seller, I was mislead and intentionally lied to. I would discourage anyone from selling or buying a car here. They are not on your side, and lie about purchase and selling price to be able to deceive both the buyer and the seller. They refuse to allow buyer and seller to talk after the deal. This prevents anyone from learning about the vehicle they purchase, especially if is a complex or modified one. This is to prevent exposure of the lies. Terrible experience. Crooked business.
