As a seller As a seller, I was mislead and intentionally lied to. I would discourage anyone from selling or buying a car here. They are not on your side, and lie about purchase and selling price to be able to deceive both the buyer and the seller. They refuse to allow buyer and seller to talk after the deal. This prevents anyone from learning about the vehicle they purchase, especially if is a complex or modified one. This is to prevent exposure of the lies. Terrible experience. Crooked business.

Consigned my 1983 Mustang GLX… Consigned my 1983 Mustang GLX convertible to the Dearborn location of Gateway. Long story short, they called me and said they couldn't get the car started. They ran it out of gas, and TORE UP THE REAR AXLE, that I HAD TO PAY TO GET FIXED (read the contract VERY CAREFULLY) to the tune of $1035! THEY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR VEHICLE, and my attorney told me I HAD NO RECOURSE WHATSOEVER. They screwed me on the final amount, padded the price to boost their take and F@CKED UP MY CAR with their car jockeys PULLING DONUTS IN THE PARKING LOT, so BEWARE, THEY WILL SCREW UP YOUR CAR, TOO, and YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT ALL. If you go with Gateway, YOU WILL REGRET IT. I wouldn't let these horses' asses sell a Radio Flyer wagon!!

Horrible & Expensive experience. Buyer Beware! Purchased a 1978 Ford Bronco from Gateway. Absolutely horrible experience. The truck was not as described. Upon delivery before the Bronco was even off loaded, I called the dealer for a refund. Of course it was “non-negotiable” and as is. Beware of this dealer. They flat out lied to me. It cost me another $21,000 to fix the misrepresented features, dents, scratches and undriveable vehicle. Look elsewhere. Have a mechanic look at car and definitely take for a drive. Don’t take a word from them as reliable.

I bought a car that was a dream I bought a car that was a dream. They delivered it and the car was a mess. it cost me over 4,000 dollars to fix the electrical problems i inherited from gateway. But all that being said. Yhanks to diligent attorneys i received a check on a settlement where gateway was ripping off customers. Shame on Gateway. I hope your business falls flat on its bogus, untrus tworthy ass!
