never book a trip on OrangeWays It's absolutely unacceptable to buy a ticket online and, 4 days before, they cancel one week distance all buses planned to leave from Budapest to Transylvania daily. Needless to say, I am daily sending them e-mails regarding the refund ticket value procedure, and I receive no answer. It's a wonder how come this company still operates in EU. Regards,

Reservation cancelled We were notified by sms for the cancellation of the Bus. The company orangeways sent us an sms the night before notifying that our departure from vienna would be at delayed at 7pm (arriving on 11 pm). But 12 hours later they sent us another sms notifying that also the bus from budapest was going to be changed from afternoon to morning at 7 am. I asked for a refund because it is not normal to spend in total 6 hours on a bus just to spend the night there !! Still no answer. If i get a response in will update the review

Worst transport company Well, I'm actually not recommending this company to anyone. I was supposed to travel with them, 3 weeks ago, from Budapest to Krakow. One day before the trip was planned, they called me to tell me that the bus is canceled, so I had to find another one in less than 24 hours!!! Luckily, other companies respect their clients, so I managed to arrive in Poland in time. What annoys me more is that I keep calling them and send them e-mails to give me a refund (because they haven't do it so far), and they are not asnwering to them. OrangeWays, when I'll go back to Hungary, I'll definetely go to the consumer's protection to denounce you ;)

Terrible! Don't waste your money Bought ticket from Vienna to Budapest months in advance and they cancelled the day before (not unusual if you read other reviews). Asked for a refund, they eventually replied to my email saying it would take two weeks (Why?). 3 weeks later and still waiting. Is this a scam? Either way we took a Flixbus who were modern friendly and efficient. My advice, avoid Orangeways at all costs!

Smooth journey After reading some terrible reviews we were apprehensive about our journey from Zegred to Budapest. However the double decker couch arrived 15 minutes before departure time and left on time. There was plenty of space on the coach, good leg room and air conditioning. There was a delay on our journey of about an hour but this was because of delays going across the border, not orangeways fault. Considering how cheap this service is I would say it was exceptional value. Potential travellers should remember that people who have a negative experience are more likely to post a review.
