GBI bought a 3.0 liter V6 for my Toyota… I bought a 3.0 liter V6 for my Toyota pick up. The buying went smoothly, the delivery and core return were easy. When we went to reassemble the accessories, we discovered the timing belt tensioner was a different set up on the new engine. We sent a number of pics of the problem to your tech support team and shop manager. Instead of sending the passenger side head ( where tensioner mounts ) we got a box 3 days later with a bunch of random pieces that looked like they had been pulled from multiple engines. No instructions,diagrams or advice—-just a box of parts. My mechanic made it all work, but only after tapping out a mounting bracket hole. Really disappointed in your follow up and tech support. GB12 yrs ago they had decent Subaru and… 12 yrs ago they had decent Subaru and Toyota rebuilds, now nothing but headaches. Stopped buying their rebuilds or any other used stuff a couple years ago because of the crappy products.

GBThe first motor was a reman it… The first motor was a reman it developed a knock in the first 10 mins of running the motor, found metal shavings in the oil pan sent the motor back for a exchange, second motor was not a reman but a 50,000 mile motor with a 1yr warranty, installed the motor to only find out number 6 cyclinder was dead. They did not want to replace the motor or refund the money so after 2 motors and 2 installs engine world was a extremely costly experience.

GBGot a 22r engine- should be one of the… Got a 22r engine- should be one of the toughest on the planet. Warranty for 6 months and 7 months later it blew a ring. Hadnt even put 500 miles on it. Took it to 3 diff. shops who all said the same thing= bunk engine. One shop even was kind enough to call their customer service for me and explain the situation to them. Weeks of back and forth with the them and NOTHING. NO refund, NO rebate, ZILCH, ZERO. EVEN IF I sent them back the engine and they determined it to be a failure on their part, toss off as it was out of warranty by 30 damn days! This POS even suggested I buy ANOTHER engine from them!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. %^!#&^*!&(*!#....
