AVIS Station Manager Retaliation on Customer Station Manager in Marquette MI mad she had to help me on Easter Sunday - retaliated against me by disregarding her original agreement and charged me $700 to drop off the vehicle I had to swap out the first malfunctioning vehicle for! I had to go back and exchange the disabled vehicle because of a bad tire and crash codes! She sent me out to an empty spot and as she and her family were driving away they flipped me off!! I called Avis, and went through several steps to resolve the charge and now, a month later…still no response. GOODBYE AVIS…BEWARE if you rent from them!

Total scam is Avis / Budget Total scam is Avis / Budget. Rented a car for 106Euro. Had to pay 179Euro extra for ‘something i signed for’. A windshield protection. They mislead you in signing a vague contract and threaten you with large 3.500 Euro fines for a tiny scratch. DO NOT RENT HERE EVER. This happened at Malaga airport.

Avis Riga - stolen money Dirty car received from Avis, covering a small scratch UNDER the car. Returning the car, I had to pay 180 eur despite the obvious photos provided to them. Be aware of thiefs!

Avis outrageous cancelation fee For the first time I paid for a vehicle upfront. Then had to cancel. Cancelled 19 days out from pick up, 3 days after paying. Out of a $296 hire charge Avis charged $82.50 cancellation fee. Now that is a disgusting practice.

Provided a smaller vehicle than what I paid for I received a confirmed rental agreement about 1 month prior to collecting my vehicle. When I arrived for collection, I was told they only had 1 vehicle left, which was smaller than what I paid for and couldn't accommodate my luggage, so my family was stuck with a 16kg bag resting across the lap of 2 family members seated in the back seat. When I returned the vehicle to AVIS, I was advised to lodge an email complaint with AVIS Management. I did. It has now been 1 week and no response at all, not even an acknowledgment.
