They lie They lie. They don’t tell you anywhere that you need proof of insurance. Yiu get there they tell you it’s very important that you get the toll package even though I said we’re not travelling far or at night. 240 plus tax. Liars Greed They upgrade you if your friend has proof of insurance so you can drive. 140 plus tax Licensing fee 75. Every time the car is rented. Rip off. Started out at 300 fir rental ended at 604. American. Greed

The have so many hidden fees its such a… The have so many hidden fees its such a rip off. We hired a car for one of our staff. $35 for the day, or so we thought. We opted in for insurance $15 a day. Then there was the pre paid gas,(acceptable) Loss damage waiver(whatever that was) Daily tolls, (acceptable) Priv Fee Recovery Charge (whatever that was) then there was state tax, vehicle license feee, Florida surcharge and a Tire battery fee.(minimal) but in the end it was $137 for ONE DAY... We only paid $157 for two days with Hertz and didn't have to travel miles to the rental location. So please use them if you have a lot of money to throw away

Collected my car from George Bush… Collected my car from George Bush International in Houston. Provided with a battered car with terrible mileage, a destroyed front bumper and the engine warning light on one week in. The headlights didn't even work properly. When challenged upon collection the response was those are the keys you've been given, thats the car you've got. Would NEVER use again. To top it off, we didn't even receive the full deposit back as they had taken a chunk out for *Taxes* that had never previously been mentioned.

Stay Away or be Ready for a Painful Headache Reservation # AEXP06CCBE Atlanta Airport. I was supposed to pick up a car on 3/19 the location had no reserved car. The service lady asked me to wait for 2-3hrs to get the car which I declined. I asked for cancellation and went across to Alamo where I managed to get a car in 15minutes. To my surprise, I was charged a $50 no-show fee on my credit card. Mistakes happen but this is unacceptable and customer service reps on the 1-800 line can be unbelievably rude. Please refund my account and do not treat customers like this - life is already stressful anyway.

Rented in FLL airport terminal on… Rented in FLL airport terminal on 7/3/19 a.m. Had to wait only 2 agents on the day before the FOURTH !! It wasn't even busy yet imagine when it is busy. Very slow !! Romel, the service agent couldn't crack a smile if he even tried. Very poor customer service interaction; actually no interaction at all. Had an attitude b/c I wanted to verify the charges.
