GBAdvantage closed before there time and… Advantage closed before there time and the customer service manager Nicolas said they were closed before their time because they had rented out all their cars before our plane landed. They charged us a fee for not canceling even though they had no cars left. We tried calling over and over and they didn't pick up because they sent everyone home. Advantage abandoned us at the airport with no other options. We felt betrayed and worried because we had an early meeting the next day with a 2 hour drive still ahead of us with no car. So we rented from Sixt rental car , they are a much better company. Review after review has said advantage has stolen from them. Call the attorney general of the state your in ASAP if they have done something bad to you.

GBCollected my car from George Bush… Collected my car from George Bush International in Houston. Provided with a battered car with terrible mileage, a destroyed front bumper and the engine warning light on one week in. The headlights didn't even work properly. When challenged upon collection the response was those are the keys you've been given, thats the car you've got. Would NEVER use again. To top it off, we didn't even receive the full deposit back as they had taken a chunk out for *Taxes* that had never previously been mentioned.

GBIncompetence at its best! I booked a car in July via Europcar for collection at JFK on 7th September at 8:00. Along with at least 4 customers in front of us, we were told that no cars would be available for at least an hour, the girl on the desk being unbelievably complacent and disinterested. It says enough that this comnpany is the only one based upstairs at JFK whilst the others have their own, bigger offices on the ground floor. Not recommended in any way whatsoever. We ended up cancelling and booking at Hertz instead as we had a 9 hour drive to Canada to get on with. Unsurprisingly, we have not yet had a refund 3 weeks later.

GBDon't go for the cheapest!! It's not. Arrived at Denver after the long flight from the UK. Waited an hour and a half in the rental office with maybe 40 other customers in a snaking queue. Got to the desk (we'd already booked online and paid for extra insurance) to be told we hadn't paid for fully comp insurance - that option hadn't apparently been available online - and that if we wanted it it would cost 15 dollars a day. We felt manipulated but obliged to pay. V v unpleasant.

CAIf I could give ZERO stars I would If I could give ZERO stars I would. He first gave me an unsafe Hyundai sonata with a flat tire (air pressure of 14!). we turned around to get our car changed but inconveniently he went for his lunch break. No one in the hotel had his contact info or ANYONES info for that matter. So we wasted 40 mins waiting around and lost all our activity reservations. Eventually some woman came and upgraded us to a Hyundai Tuscan and when we got in the car the gas was less than half tank full! And in the end they CHARGED us an additional $162 thinking we did not fill it up. Good thing I took pictures of both the flat tire and empty gas tank so they can’t scam us. DO NOT RENT FROM ADVANTAGE.
