THE SWORD EXPERIENCE
FRThe have so many hidden fees its such a… The have so many hidden fees its such a rip off. We hired a car for one of our staff. $35 for the day, or so we thought. We opted in for insurance $15 a day. Then there was the pre paid gas,(acceptable) Loss damage waiver(whatever that was) Daily tolls, (acceptable) Priv Fee Recovery Charge (whatever that was) then there was state tax, vehicle license feee, Florida surcharge and a Tire battery fee.(minimal) but in the end it was $137 for ONE DAY... We only paid $157 for two days with Hertz and didn't have to travel miles to the rental location. So please use them if you have a lot of money to throw away

GBIt's a horrible experience!! It's a horrible experience!!! We rented the car in Las Vegas and drove to Arizona and Utah to visit national parks. Not to mention that it's old model and DIESEL only (more expensive for gas and inconvenient), the heater in the car is not working! We were driving in snow condition without heater. I had to wear down jacket, hat, mask and gloves in the car to keep myself warm. It was 20 degree outside and probably the same in the car. Couldn't feel my legs after one hour driving. Worst car rental experience I've ever had!

GBI booked a convertible through wisecar… I booked a convertible through wisecar for my honeymoon in hawaii. Upon arrival the agent that helped us, Jimmy-Jack, seemed to be helpful. I told him we booked through wisecar and I offered the reservation number. He saw I had booked a convertible and said they have two convertibles available mustang or Jeep. I took the Jeep and we went on our way. The Monday after we returned from our vacation I saw that we were charged double our quoted reservation and wisecar would do nothing about it. Extremely disappointed in both companies. Wisecar and Advantage scamming customers with a promised low price then once it hits your credit card they play blame game on each other.

GBIncompetence at its best! I booked a car in July via Europcar for collection at JFK on 7th September at 8:00. Along with at least 4 customers in front of us, we were told that no cars would be available for at least an hour, the girl on the desk being unbelievably complacent and disinterested. It says enough that this comnpany is the only one based upstairs at JFK whilst the others have their own, bigger offices on the ground floor. Not recommended in any way whatsoever. We ended up cancelling and booking at Hertz instead as we had a 9 hour drive to Canada to get on with. Unsurprisingly, we have not yet had a refund 3 weeks later.

GBDon't go for the cheapest!! It's not. Arrived at Denver after the long flight from the UK. Waited an hour and a half in the rental office with maybe 40 other customers in a snaking queue. Got to the desk (we'd already booked online and paid for extra insurance) to be told we hadn't paid for fully comp insurance - that option hadn't apparently been available online - and that if we wanted it it would cost 15 dollars a day. We felt manipulated but obliged to pay. V v unpleasant.
