GBI've had two 20lvxd30s, they need time and cost to get them right! This review is written after two and a half years. I've had two 20lvxd30s, the first one was stolen and replaced like for like. They have both had the same plus and minus points. The plus points, a reasonable manual, robust construction (see point on weight), reasonable power and performance / assistance within limitations of the legislation, a decent control display, useful and sensitive alarm and functional ignition key, good stopping power from the disc brakes. The minus points, awkward seat and pedal angle / position / height. I'm slightly shorter than average yet my knees are too high and at the wrong angle when at top of pedal turn. Even with a goose neck (and expensive) seat post it's difficult to get a good angle, the seat it comes with is dreadful, the bike is too low geared at its highest gear meaning frantic pedalling on the flat to reach trotting pace. Front forks yoke chrome plating is a joke and rusts through within weeks! It folds but it is heavy, you wont be throwing it in the boot or lifting it up stairs or onto trains. With a lot of expensive modification these can be made tolerable but attention to design and user feedback could make a much better machine! See separate review for LO26
