Everyone I worked with was very pleasant but made me feel rushed and like they did not have the time to answer questions fully or appropriately. I had asked for a couple small things to be fixed before taking my car home and was told they did so but was disappointed to find whatever the short term fix they did lasted a day after driving off the lot.

Arrived there to find the car had been running on tick over until upto temperature which I found odd. The sales guy approved me who I found rude. I looked around the car to find the boot wouldn't open the alloys had a quick lick over was told they had a full refurbishment to find out a 4 year old could do a better job. I then turned the car off to then find out it wouldn't start back up was told it would be just battery but I think it was more the alternator not charging the battery. Then went under the engine bay to find it in scruffy condition and the diesel filter which looked like it had never been changed. I didn't take the car on a test drive as I had seen enough. It took a week to get my deposit back with several calls to the company. Wouldn't trust these cowboys with a spanner.

THEY KNOW HOW LEGITIMIZE THE SCAMS THEIR DOING SO POLICE CANNOT DO ANYTHING OR THE COURTS

Avoid at all costs you cannot trust… Avoid at all costs you cannot trust this company. One of the dealers here ken sold a completely damaged dodgy car the car cost around 15000 and was quoted 18000 on repairs as it was due to the cars software. Ken was in the middle of court proceedings when he closed his ltd company and got away with it. He knows is a partner at car city.

MY MOTOR & GEARBOX ALMOST COMPLETELY FELL OUT OF THE CAR THEY SOLD ME I bought a used peugeot from smile autos whom operate from within car city in minchinbury nsw , before I bought the car the dealer installed a new clutch & I went over a speed bump about 7 weeks after I bought it & the motor & gearbox almost fell out of the car because the mechanic that fitted the clutch didn't put the nut on the gearbox mount , when the motor dropped it damaged the radiator & drive shaft was torn apart at the cv joint & flung around the engine bay destroying the drive shaft , I contacted the dealer & he said it's not his problem & told me to pis off then he hung up the phone on me , DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR CAR CITY ESPECIALLY SMILE AUTOS EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE IS DODGY , THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE,
