MY MOTOR & GEARBOX ALMOST COMPLETELY FELL OUT OF THE CAR THEY SOLD ME I bought a used peugeot from smile autos whom operate from within car city in minchinbury nsw , before I bought the car the dealer installed a new clutch & I went over a speed bump about 7 weeks after I bought it & the motor & gearbox almost fell out of the car because the mechanic that fitted the clutch didn't put the nut on the gearbox mount , when the motor dropped it damaged the radiator & drive shaft was torn apart at the cv joint & flung around the engine bay destroying the drive shaft , I contacted the dealer & he said it's not his problem & told me to pis off then he hung up the phone on me , DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR CAR CITY ESPECIALLY SMILE AUTOS EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE IS DODGY , THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE,

Really disappointed with the management… Really disappointed with the management of my file. I advanced 200 GBP as a deposit with the garage after accepting the financing of the car. I signed all the necessary documents. In the end, more funding for reasons that are not very clear and, moreover, they don't want to reimburse my deposit. Really not at all serious. I will file a complaint with the competent authorities.

Good deal on a good car Good deal on a good car. Not sure of the inspections before sale because while on test drive the Traction Control light came on. After purchase took to a shop to have it recalibrated and to find the left outer tie rod end was bad. Extended warranty covered it. Upon my own inspection the air filter was filthy and the intake hose was not attached to the air filter housing. Whoever car city uses for their before sale maintenance needs to pay attention. I was pulling unfiltered air into the intake, luckily I am mechanically inclined.
