GBOrdered the RVR3 and was missing the… Ordered the RVR3 and was missing the spanner wrench. Contacted Trailer Valet. After a trial use, it did not fit my needs and I requested an RMA on their contact page. Never got a response and ended calling them. After several calls and emails I sent back the unit. Did not get a response about receiving it or a that a refund was being credited. 20 days later after they received my return, I got a credit on my cc minus the shipping charge and of course no email. Their products are ok but their customer service is severely lacking. Thanks for the lack of effort Aaron (less then helpful Trailer Valet customer rep).

GBDon't Go In The Water I used Trailer Valet on a 16 ft. boat. I guess the manufacturer did not anticipate that customers would use their product with boats, because the "Valet" rusted up pretty fast. Then I had a problem and needed to purchase replacement tubes for the tires on the "Valet". For the price charged I expected to receive solid gold tubes, but was astonished to learn that rubber tubes could demand such a price.

GBSTAY AWAY- DO NOT BUY STAY AWAY- DO NOT BUY The RVR12 does not have the same tread as the smaller machines and struggles to gain traction on finished concrete and wet unfinished concrete (driveways.) As you will read in other reviews, they are very quick to accept a return for their poor quality machine. However, they charge you shipping return shipping as well as initial shipping. Additionally, I was delivered a faulty remote and they told me it would be $900 for a new one. It all seems a little scammy. I filed fraud on my CC and have returned the machine. I paid for return shipping but amex refunded the entire purchase price. BEWARE!!

CA"Stucco Mesh Really Helped" Works as expected after some trial and error using stucco mesh to improve traction. ( google: 27-in-x-96-in-galvanized-steel-flooring-lath) Our challenge was to move our 3500 lb trailer by pulling it across a grassy area, up and over an incline onto loose gravel which was the goal to have the trailer behind a fence, plugged in with the door able to open. This required pulling the trailer through a narrow opening with 3" to spare on each side. Pulling was required to allow the door to the trailer to open. The largest challenge was maintaining traction for the tires, across a combination of slippery grass, dirt and loose gravel. Our solution was a 24" wide stucco mesh 5' long. Once we had the stucco mesh positioned under the dual wheels they did not spinout. This allowed other difficulties such as maintaining an up right position and use of a battery powered drill to move the trailer safely exactly and carefully to where we wanted it.

GBTrailer Valet don't like bass boats especially with tandem wheel trailers The company is accommodating however the "ease" of use for the device is extremely overstated. Advise to those with bass boats and looking to purchase, The device is NOT the answer to your dreams., It is simply an answer. It is difficult to crank from a bent over posture. The drill method is not as easy as the website shows so you end up hand crank and that ain't easy folks. Especially bent over, cranking while holding the break handle in the up-extended position. My new boat has tandem wheels on the trailer and the Trailer Valet don't like that one bit. So to wrap this up-it works but not even close to the ease of use the company professes, at least it doesn't for me and two different bass boats and trailer styles (2 wheel and tandem)
