Best Movers! We have probably moved five times in ten years. Sometimes we had better experiences than others. But the best by Independence Van Lines. They moved us from Miami to Washington and what can be an stressful filled event was actually pleasurable. They are extremely professional, very careful and thoughtful, and they are also lovely kind people. Nothing was broken or damaged. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

The boxes that they brought into the… The boxes that they brought into the apartment were placed in the appropriate rooms with space for me to move around the apartment. Even with having to wait for the leasing manager to bring the correct key for the apartment and putting together a bed they were finished at the scheduled time of 5:30 p.m. That also included carrying the items into my second floor walk up apartment. The move was expertly handled and the team was mindful of traffic and arrived at each location before me.

Confirming the move date and services needed was easy and the four men who showed up on the day of the move were courteous, fast, and extremely professional. The Movers did what was done on the… The Movers did what was done on the contract and nothing more -- nothing less -- which is fine by us because it's exactly what we wanted. I now that there are plenty of bad movers out there so we must have just gotten lucky or something, but i all turned out really nice.

Excellent job!! We wish we could give more than 5 stars! The communication from the office staff is excellent! The movers showed up on time, actually early. We received a text with an approximate ETA and a text when they arrived. The movers themselves were very professional, understanding, and did more than a superior job. Moving is stressful enough but Independence Van Lines helped to relieve ALOT of that stress!
